Former NFL Star Michael Strahan Engaged

As former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan gets ready to tackle sitcom stardom as a cast member in the upcoming FOX series Brothers, the football great is also preparing to embark on a new chapter in his personal life. The athlete, who today analyzes games on FOX NFL Sunday, confided to People magazine that he has asked Nicole Murphy to be his wife.

Choosing a beach in the Bahamas for the May 22, 2009 betrothal, the ex-wife of Eddie Murphy is now sporting an engagement ring crowned with canary yellow and white diamonds. The happy couple have not divulged a date for their impending I do's.
