Actress Drea de Matteo and Shooter Jennings Engaged

Country musician Shooter Jennings definitely has something to sing about these days, as actress Drea de Matteo (Joey, The Sopranos) has accepted the role of a lifetime– that of wife to the singer.
Sharing his happiness with ticket holders at his Utica, NY concert on June 11, 2009, the son of late music legend Waylon Jennings called the actress on stage to publicly profess his love and ask for her hand. The singer/songwriter would later post a Twitter message to spread the happy news, People magazine reports.
The couple’s eight-year romance led in late 2007 to the birth of their daughter Alabama Gypsyrose, who witnessed her parent’s proposal. A date for their I do’s has not been announced.
