David Blaine may be known as a master of illusion, but his love for French model Alizee Guinochet is very real. The endurance artist’s 36th birthday, April 4, 2009, proved to be the magic moment for a proposal.
According to the New York Post, the bride-to-be is currently modelling two gold “pre-engagement” rings, one of which is accented with diamonds, on the third finger of her left hand– a symbol of commitment which the Guinness Book of World Records holder states will do a disappearing act in exchange for a more lavish look “when the economy improves.”
Currently enjoying their betrothed status, the happy couple have not announced a date for their impending I do’s.
