Actor Campbell Scott Engaged

Two years ago actor Campbell Scott (best known for his role in the ABC series Six Degrees and for sharing the big screen with Julia Roberts in the drama Dying Young) found himself on stage as the star of a one-man play. Little did he realize at the time that he was about to meet the woman who would take on the role of his leading lady in real life.

Actress Kathlees McElfresh, whose appearance in a different play by the same author brought about the start of the pair's romance, accepted the star's proposal of marriage in November 2008. The bride-to-be will become Mrs. Scott when the couple celebrate their love with an intimate "I do" this June in Florida, People magazine reports.
