The rumor that their romance would lead to a proposal of marriage became reality recently when it was revealed that movie icon Harrison Ford has asked his long-time love Calista Flockhart to be his wife.

One of the entertainment industry’s most private pairs, over a month had passed before the press received confirmation that the Brothers & Sisters star had been gifted with an engagement ring during a family getaway on the Valentine’s Day weekend, according to People magazine.

Having walked together numerous times on the red carpet, the happy couple– who have been an item for the past seven and one-half years– have yet to disclose when they will take their walk down the aisle.
