13509: "How I Met Your Mother" Star Cobie Smulders Engaged

Actress Cobie Smulders, who shared screen time with Taran Killam in two episodes of the CBS series How I Met Your Mother, has announced that she also plans to share a lifetime together with the actor.

The TV star, who portrays newscaster Robin Scherbatsky in the primetime comedy, confided to People magazine that she has been engaged since the holidays.

Along with the title of Mrs., the bride-to-be is also preparing to take on the role of motherhood with the arrival of the couple's first child in the spring.
