11009: Ione Skye and Ben Lee's Wedding

Actress Ione Skye of Say Anything fame said "I do" to indie singer Ben Lee on December 29, 2008.

Having traveled to India to receive his guru's guidance prior to his January 11, 2008 proposal, the country once again played an important role in the couple's lives as they were joined in matrimony at the Sri Narayani Peedam near Vellore, Life & Style magazine online reported.

The bride, who appears on the cover of her new husband's upcoming CD The Rebirth of Venus, was swathed in a green saree and laden with garlands during the Hindu ceremony, which was witnessed not only by the bride's brother (Donovan Leitch) but also by locals in the area.
