10609: "Top Chef" Contestant Nikki Cascone Engaged

Concocting the perfect recipe for a lifelong romance, Top Chef season four finalist Nikki Cascone has accepted a proposal of marriage from her business partner beau, 24 Prince restaurant co-owner Brad Grossman, People magazine online revealed.

Man's best friend became this bride-to-be's best buddy as well when Grossman persuaded one of the couple's pooches to help with the proposal. Securing the engagement ring around their canine companion's neck, the sparkler was a happy surprise for the reality TV star as she prepared dinner.

The happy couple are already gathering the ingredients for their dream "I do," which will take place in the presence of more than 200 friends and family members in the spring of 2010.
