Looking Back at Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen's 2002 Wedding

Charlie Sheen's love of baseball was a running thread throughout his June 2002 nuptials to actress Denise Richards, from the chorus of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" as the couple were introduced to assembled guests as husband and wife to a Gold Glove trophy bearing a likeness of the newlyweds, which was presented to the groom at the reception. Even the 85 friends and family members, including Jason Sehorn and Angie Harmon, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy and Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, received a souvenir of summer's favorite past time in the form of L.A. Dodgers caps as parting gifts, emblazoned with the the lovebird's initials.

The following photo captures a family snapshot of the happy day. Although their love was not to last, the union produced two daughters, Sam and Lola, who would watch their father exchange vows with Brooke Mueller on May 30, 2008.

55508: Charlie Sheen's Wedding

Throughout his acting career, Charlie Sheen has grown accustomed to bringing the words of screenwriters to life. On the evening of May 30, 2008, however, the star of such diverse works as Platoon and the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men recited words not penned by a script writer, but rather by his own hand, as he professed his devotion to Brooke Mueller. According to OK magazine, the groom's father Martin Sheen, the TV Guide channel's Lisa Joyner (the wife of Sheen's Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer, who was unable to attend due to a prior engagement), actress Rebecca Gayheart and her husband, Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane and the groom's two daughters by former wife Denise Richards were among the intimate group of 60 who gathered at a Beverly Hills estate to witness the evening ceremony.

The bride walked down the aisle in an ivory Reem Acra creation, the path leading her to her leading man, who had donned a Pronto Uomo suit for the occasion. During the intimate I do's, the newly-dubbed Mrs. received a wedding band to accompany the 11-carat, yellow diamond engagement ring she has worn since July 2007, when the actor asked for her hand in marriage during a romantic getaway at the Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica.

Wanting nothing more than the presence of family and friends, the newlyweds requested that any gifts should be in the form of a donation to the Chrysalis charitable organization.

55308: Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson Dine at Tere's Mexican Grill

Customers standing in line for arguably the best Mexican food on Melrose Avenue were happy to discover an A-lister mulling over the menu alongside them as Lindsay Lohan and her gal pal Samantha Ronson ordered a leisurely lunch at Tere's Mexican Grill, an eatery that has become a hit among Hispanic stars, as the signed photos on its wall of fame attests. Seated below an array of fake parrots and maracas that dangle from the ceiling, the Mean Girls star, whose features were photo-ready thanks to an earlier appointment at the Neil George Salon, enjoyed sampling the south of the border fare before facing the throng of paparazzi waiting outside the diner's door.

54808: Prince William and Kate Middleton Enjoy the Mystique of Mustique

Soon to embark on a three-month stint with the Royal Navy, Prince William will carry with him the memory of his romantic rendezvous with Kate Middleton on the island of Mustique. The West Indies idyll has long held an allure for members of the monarchy-- in 1966 Queen Elizabeth made a private sojourn to the southern Caribbean's 1,400 acres, while the late Princess Margaret chose the palm-laden paradise for a holiday home.

According to The Daily Mail, the doors of Mustique's Villa Alumbrera recently opened for a visit from the second in line to the throne and his lady love. The restless waves of the Atlantic Ocean lulled the couple to sleep at night after days spent enjoying the venue's amenities, swimming in the azure waters and leaving their footprints on the white sands of Macaroni Beach.

Over the holiday weekend, the flash of photogs' flashbulbs illuminated Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman's path to their vehicle as the couple emerged from The Little Door restaurant. Max Liron's parents, who have enjoyed two and a half years of wedded bliss, took time out from their busy schedules for a "date night" at the dining establishment deemed "The best romantic restaurant in L.A." While a number of notables have mulled over the eatery's Mediterranean-style menu, The Little Door restaurant is a paparazzi magnet all on its own, having shared the screen with Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez in the box office hit Monster-In-Law.

Later in the night, the pulsating rhythm of music spun by Dustin Hoffman's son greeted the platinum pop princess and her husband as they walked inside Villa Lounge, Melrose Avenue's music mecca for West Hollywood's happening crowd.

54608: Charlie Sheen's Fiancee Enjoys Bridal Shower

Preparing to set sail for a life together with actor Charlie Sheen, The Warehouse restaurant's nautical theme provided a ship shape locale for soon-to-wed Brooke Mueller's bridal shower, OK magazine online reports. The towering palms which guard the Marina del Rey, California eatery were silent witnesses as actress Rebecca Gayheart, surely thinking back to her own 2004 "I do" day with Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane, walked past the moored yachts bobbing in the water and the antique whiskey barrels that decorate the dining establishment on her way to the afternoon fete. (The former Nip/Tuck cast member will have yet another reason to reminisce about her wedding to "McSteamy" when her upcoming romantic comedy For Better or for Worse hits theaters.)

The bride-to-be does not have long to wait before the Two and a Half Men star presents her with a wedding band to accompany her 11-carat, radiant cut yellow diamond engagement ring from jeweler Alon Barak, which the prospective groom slipped on her finger during a romantic getaway at the Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica. OK magazine announced that the happy couple are planning to exchange vows on May 30, 2008.

The rising star confided to People magazine online that her beau Ben Higginson greeted her after a night of filming and escorted her to H Rock for a panoramic view of the sunrise over the community which holds all of her childhood memories-- Salt Lake City, Utah. 54308: Prince Joachim of Denmark's Wedding

Dancing on the breeze, Marie Cavallier's lace-edged tulle veil seemed to mirror the joy in the bride's heart on the afternoon on May 24, 2008 as she stood by her father's side outside of Møgeltønder Church and waited for the start of a ceremony which would unite her in matrimony with the fourth in line to Denmark's throne. A romance punctuated with a proposal during a trip to Turkey in the summer of 2007 led the French beauty to this moment in which she stepped upon a red carpet, its path leading her toward a flower-festooned altar where Prince Joachim, dressed in an infantry uniform, hugged his two young sons as he waited for the arrival of his bride.

Seventy-three years ago to the day, Queen Ingrid, a princess at the time, clutched a bouquet of white lilies on her way to say "I do" to Crown Prince Frederik. Her memory was lovingly interwoven into the grandeur of this wedding day as the same fragrant flower joining an array of cream roses, winter barley (representing the land in Schackenborg where the couple will reside) and myrtle from Fredensborg Palace carried by Marie Cavallier as she was escorted down the aisle to the strains of "Sarabande Tres Tendrement" by French composer Francois Couperin.

The glint of diamonds from a tiara lent by Queen Margrethe, the bride's new mother-in-law, sparkled in the light as the bride walked past an assemblage of royalty, including Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria, Greek Crown Prince Pavlos and his wife Marie Chantal and Norway's Crown Prince Haakon, who stood in her honor as she strolled past in an off-white gown from Arasa Morelli, a creation lined with ivory silk faille and detailed with raised satin stitch flowers and Calais lace.

(article continues below)

As tradition dictates, the couple took their places in the center of a heart fashioned from roses as they pledged their love to one another. Symbolizing their devotion, the groom received a band of gold, while the bride was presented with an 18-karat gold band accented with six brilliant-cut diamonds to accompany her ruby, diamond and sapphire engagement ring.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds and invited guests convened at Schackenborg Castle for the reception. Guests enjoyed a regal repast of beef tenderloin with summer truffles, turbot with scallops and fjord shrimps and wadden sea oysters-- a feast topped with slices of an eight-tier wedding cake.

Marie Cavallier's Wedding Bouquet

For the past 200 years, brides in the Danish royal family gave carried sprigs of myrtle down the aisle. The tradition continued on May 24, 2008 as Marie Cavallier clutched cuttings of the flowering plant along with cream-petaled roses, white lilies, winter barley and green Camellia leaves. The botanical beauty was the creation of florist Jan Munch of Munch & Levison, who also arranged floral finery for the wedding of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary.

The following photo also showcases the elegance of Queen Margrethe's diamond diadem, which graced the bride's head on her special day.

A lace-lined tulle veil provided an extra touch of romance to the bride's Calais lace-accented wedding dress from Swiss design duo David Arasa and Claudio Morelli of Arasa Morelli. Prince Joachim Arrives For Wedding

The Silver Cross of the Order of Dannebrog and King Frederik IX's Centenary Medal glistened in the afternoon sun as Prince Joachim walked toward Mogeltonder Church, but the shine was still not as bright as the beaming smile on the groom's face as he received the congratulations of well-wishers.

Young Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix, the groom's sons from his previous marriage, were proud to stand at their father's side on his wedding day. In a touching paternal display, the prince would hug his children as he stood at the altar and waited the arrival of his bride.

The Danish designer applied thousands of rose and gold-tinted pearls and crystals to the wedding dress, which was paired with a ribbon-edged, chapel-length veil.

53908: Reader Mail: Princess Diana Wedding Music?

Readers often write in to ask for "I do" details about their favorite celebrities, so Lovetripper magazine is introducing a new reader mail section. Some of the most frequently asked questions involve royal weddings, such as the enquiry below:

Q: Reading media coverage of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly's recent ceremony has made me nostalgic about the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen-- that of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. An impressionable girl of 14 at the time, I can remember waking up at four in the morning so I could "be a part" of the nuptials.

Twenty-seven years later, I find myself helping with arrangements for my own daughter's special day. She's always been my little princess, and I would love for her to walk down the aisle to the same music chosen by Princess Diana. Do you know the name of the music played during the processional?

Brooke
Chicago, Illinois

A: Your daughter would enjoy a regal walk down the aisle if accompanied by "Trumpet Voluntary" by 17th century composer Jeremiah Clarke. Often referred to as "The Prince of Denmark's March," the classic composition not only rang out in St. Paul's Cathedral on July 29, 1981 as Lady Diana Spencer strolled to the altar on her way to becoming the Princess of Wales -- the tune also escorted the most recent addition to the royal family, Autumn Kelly, as she entered St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

53808: Kristi Yamaguchi's 2000 Wedding

As Kristi Yamaguchi attempts to win the coveted disco ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars, Lovetripper takes a look back to the day the Olympic gold medalist waltzed down the aisle with her husband, hockey player Bret Hedican:

The blast of a conch shell rang out over the grounds of Hawaii's Mauna Lani Hotel on July 8, 2000, heralding the arrival of figure skating icon Kristi Yamaguchi, who glided past 300 friends and family members in her Vera Wang gown to the tune "Hawaiian Love Song" on her way to the groom, who stood beneath a pergola festooned with flowers. Mirroring the early evening sky, the brides chapel-length veil was a diaphanous cloud floating in a light breeze as she exchanged vows with her love, while the diamonds on her Fred Leighton tiara sparkled like the stars that would soon appear overhead.

According to InStyle Weddings, a shower of fragrant orchid and rose petals sprinkled by the assembled guests and six bridesmaids in periwinkle blue dresses from Laundry by Shelli Segal christened the couple's marriage as they took their first steps together as husband and wife, heading to the resort's ballroom. As attendees, which included fellow Olympians Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano and Peggy Fleming, dined on seared tuna-and-shrimp followed by filet mignon and Hawaiian snapper, the newlyweds took to the dance floor to sway to a contemporary classic which summed up their special day-- "I Could Not Ask For More."

53608: Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly's Wedding

The rain drops which fell over Windsor Castle on May 17, 2008 served only to christen the impending marriage of Peter Phillips, 11th in line to the throne, and his love Autumn Kelly as the Queen's maroon Bentley bore the bride to St. George's Chapel, a house of worship which has welcomed a number of royal brides over the years. Queen Alexandra strolled through the entrance on her way to wed King Edward VII in 1863, as did the former Sophie Rhys-Jones during her 1999 wedding to Prince Edward and The Duchess of Cornwall, who received a blessing of her union with Prince Charles inside the house of worship in 2005. On this day it was a Canadian beauty's turn to walk up the chapel steps, her six bridesmaids attending to her Swiss silk tulle veil and the cathedral-length train of her ivory silk satin Sassi Holford gown, which was paired with a Chantilly lace shrug, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The regal strains of the Prince of Denmark's March by Jeremiah Clarke rang out inside the chapel as the bride walked past 300 friends and family members, the light dancing on the diamond studded tiara belonging to her new mother-in-law Princess Anne as she made her way toward the altar. During the 55-minute ceremony, guests listened intently to the hymn "Now Thank We All Our God" and a reading of Shakespeare's Sonnet 116 by Princess Eugenie, then watched as the bride received a wedding band to accompany her three-diamond, white gold engagement ring.

Church bells peeled after the ceremony as bridesmaids in celadon-colored Vera Wang gowns and members of the royal family waved as the newlyweds were whisked away in a horse-drawn carriage to Frogmore House for the reception. The former home of Queen Victoria welcomed Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsey Davy, who had just made her first appearance with the Queen; Kate Middleton-- who celebrated with Prince William's family as he attended a wedding in Kenya-- and 350 other guests, who dined on Cornish crab and Welsh lamb according to Hello magazine, which will feature exclusive coverage of the event.

53508: Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's Wedding

Home is where the heart is, according to Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, who were pronounced husband and wife in a tent erected at the Encino, California residence of the bride's parents on May 17, 2008. The couple made the evening a family affair, with the bride's sister Jessica Simpson acting as maid of honor and father Joe Simpson hearkening back to his days as a pastor to unite the pair in matrimony during a non-denominational service, while the groom's four-legged family member-- his bulldog, Hemingway-- proudly trotted down the aisle in his role as ring bearer.

According to People magazine online, Scrubs star Donald Faison, CaCee Cobb, the Simpson sister's "mane" man Ken Paves, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and Tony Romo were among the 150 guests who bore witness as bridesmaids in Vera Wang creations strolled past before the bride made her grand entrance in an ivory, lace-accented Monique Lhuillier design, the facets of her Neil Lane diamond earrings and necklace sparkling in the light cast by black chandeliers as she made her way toward the altar, where the groom stood in a Dior Homme tuxedo, waiting to make her his wife.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds and their friends sat at tables adorned with black rose centerpieces and dined on cuisine concocted by Wolfgang Puck. The feast was topped with slices of an Alice in Wonderland-themed cake-- the tea pot, top hat and stop watch images the work of Napa bakery Perfect Endings, which also created confection perfection for Jessica Simpson's wedding in 2002.

53408: Loni Anderson's Wedding

Although their six-month romance ended back in 1963, the fire of true love is never extinguished-- a fact perennial small screen siren Loni Anderson learned when she contacted her old flame, folk singer Bob Flick, five years ago. The couple's rekindled feelings led to a trip down the aisle on May 17, 2008, when the bride's granddaughters, each wearing a diamond heart necklace which had accented the beauty of the actress in the movie Stroker Ace, sprinkled rose petals along a path taken next by the bride's daughter in her role as maid of honor. Making her grand entrance, the former star of WKRP In Cincinnati linked arms with her son and walked down the aisle, smiling at the intimate group of friends who admired her strapless Monique Lhuillier gown.

The evening nuptials took place at the Bel-Air Hotel, a Los Angeles landmark accustomed to celebrity ceremonies, including those of Nikki Cox and Jay Mohr and Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman.

The newlyweds will soon sit down to write thank you notes for gifts purchased at Williams-Sonoma, where the couple set up a wedding registry, Entertainment Tonight reports.

53308: "Australian Idol" Winner Guy Sebastian's Wedding

In 2006, country music superstar Keith Urban took Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman for his bride at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel. Two years later another performer from the land down under is singing the praises of the neogothic house of worship as Australian Idol season one winner Guy Sebastian exchanged vows with his long-time love, Jules Egan. Jennifer Hawkins, Jake Wall, former Australian Idol contestants Shannon Noll and Dean Geyer, who recently announced his plans to say "I do" to Lisa Origliasso of The Veronicas, were among the 200 friends and family members who stood in honor of the bride as she began her walk down the aisle in an off-white, one-shoulder creation from Master/slave, a clothing brand popular among many of Australia's chart toppers..

During the ceremony the groom, who wore a brown suit for the occasion, slipped a wedding band on his bride's finger to accompany the white gold, 140-diamond engagement ring which has graced her finger since January 2008.

Following the nuptials and a photo op at the Hilton Hotel, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Luna Park for the reception, the Sunday Telegraph reports. Sampling slices of their white chocolate wedding cake, the bride and groom enjoyed their first hours together as husband and wife and, like the title of the singer's second CD, celebrated the beginning of their "Beautiful Life" together.

53208: "Gossip Girl" Wedding Location

The CW is set to celebrate the small screen ceremony of the year as Lily van der Woodsen (portrayed by Kelly Rutherford) and Bart Bass (played by actor Robert John Burke) exchange vows during the season finale of Gossip Girl, which airs May 19, 2008. All the "I do" drama takes place at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, an early 20th century architectural treasure located on Manhattan's Museum Mile. Once the abode of Andrew Carnegie, today the venue welcomes those interested in the preservation of design history. Its doors, which currently lead visitors to an exhibition featuring Rococo era wonders, are open seven days a week.

While the public can promenade through the museum's garden entrance on 90th Street annually from May through September, in late April the verdant area was transformed into an Upper East Side utopia for the cast and crew of the teen drama, complete with floral finery from the proprietor of Doro's Annex, florist Sung Jung, who also provided botanical beauty when Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) exchanged vows with Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) in Sex and the City . As cameras rolled, actress Blake Lively (Serena) looked like a ray of sunshine in her butter yellow print Ralph Lauren maid of honor gown, its multi-tiered ruffles fluttering in the light spring breeze as she walked down the aisle ahead of her onscreen mother Kelly Rutherford (Lily van der Woodsen), who wore bridal attire created by designer to the stars Vera Wang.

In the waning years of the 19th century, La Goulou was the queen of the Can Can, her high kicks and swirling skirts captured on canvas for all eternity by Toulouse Lautrec. 52408: Matthew McConaughey's Stay in a Massachusetts Inn

During production of the movie, the Newbury Port News reports that, following a long day spent on the set, nature-loving luminary Matthew McConaughey would unwind amid the verdant beauty of the Rowley, Massachusetts venue, which offers accommodations inside a 1901 farmhouse, a carriage house adorned with Laura Ashley fabrics, a cozy motel featuring private patios and fireplaces, and a collection of country collection suites, village suites, cottages and townhouses.

52308: Jenna Bush's Wedding

Just as the sunrise over Acadia National Park in Maine marked the start of their journey toward a lifetime together in August 2007, sunset saw the fruition of that promise as Jenna Bush and Henry Hager were pronounced husband and wife on May 10, 2008. Approximately 200 friends and family members blessed the couple with their presence, rising from the rows of white chairs situated on the grounds of the Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas as the 43rd President of the United States, like any other proud papa on his daughter's wedding day, walked his little girl down the aisle.

All eyes were on the bride in her Oscar de la Renta silk organza gown, the garment's beauty enhanced with the addition of quartz earrings from Anthony Nak and the dainty white flowers which she had gathered in her hair. Clutching her bouquet, she smiled at her mother (who had donned a turquoise blue dress by the same designer ) as she continued down the path which led her to a limestone altar crowned with a 4-foot tall cross, where her love waited to make her his bride.

Following the ceremony, in which the First Daughter received a wedding band to accompany her diamond and sapphire engagement ring, guests convened to a tent erected on the property, where 14 attendants in multi-colored Lela Rose chiffon creations and the maid of honor-- wearing a pale blue gown with a metallic sheen that mirrored the moonlight rising overhead-- sat at tables draped with mint green tablecloths and sampled slices of a four-tier wedding cake adorned with lavender, blue and white blossoms. The sounds of The Tyrone Smith Revue got the party going, but one tune tugged at the heartstrings of all in attendance as President Bush led his daughter out on to the dance floor as the the Joe Cocker classic "You Are So Beautiful" began to play.

52208: Gwyneth Paltrow in The Eternal City

Gazing down from a stone monument which guards over Rome's Piazza Campo de' Fiori, the ever-watchful eyes of the 16th century philosopher Giordano Bruno bore witness on May 8, 2008 as production assistants made last minute preparations for statuesque silver screen beauty Gwyneth Paltrow's appearance in an ad for the Italian brand Tods. Walking in a pair of high-rise heels, the Academy Award winner's footsteps echoed on the piazza's cobblestones which lead to an open air market, where six days a week locals and tourists alike can purchase produce and bouquets of blossoms-- fragrant reminders of the days long ago, when the area was a field of flowers (hence the name Campo de' Fiori).

Currently riding high on the box office success of Iron Man, People magazine online reports that the Academy Award winner had also donned a pair of seductive stilettos in the Eternal City the day before, looking red carpet ready in a curvaceous creation by Herve Leroux (formerly known as Herve Leger).

52108: Jenna Bush's Pre-Wedding Festivities

Guarding over the ever-flowing waters of Salado Creek, the statue of a mermaid christened Sirena has seen a steady stream of tourists over the years cross over the Main Street Bridge in Salado in search of an elusive Roseville planter at one of the town's myriad antiques stores, an oil painting by a local artist in the town's art galleries or simply to wade in the refreshing waters of its bubbling brook. On May 9, 2008, however, Sirena was a silent witness to a historic event as Secret Service escorted the President of the Unites States across the bridge for a pre-wedding party in celebration of the First Daughter's impending I do's.

The Bridal Luncheon

Jenna Bush's pre-wedding festivities began with a bridal luncheon conducted at The Inn on the Creek, a Victorian era vision popular for romantic getaways. Family and friends sipped both champagne as well as tea and lemonade in order to combat the almost triple digit temperature before heading to the dining room for cake and to bestow gifts, the inn's owner recalls on the venue's official website. A 14-room retreat, guests can walk in the footsteps of the Bush family by booking a stay at either the Main Manor, Holland House or Giles-Kindred House, while those interested in entertaining in the style accustomed to the Bush family can order the inn's cook book, Salado Sunsets, which is filled with 100 signature recipes.

The Rehearsal Dinner

Attractions are only a short stroll away in this close-knit community, and the soon-to-be Mrs. Hager had only a few blocks to travel before meeting up with the groom and his family for a rehearsal dinner at Old Salado Springs Celebration Center and Retreat. Situated in a verdant landscape, the 5,000 square foot venue often echoes with the I do's of Hill Country couples.

Pre-Wedding Party

The Salado Silver Spur Theater often rings out with the applause of audiences as they take a nostalgic trip back in time to the days of vaudeville or the laughter of cinema buffs as they sing along with their favorite movie musicals during a special classic film festival. On the evening of May 9th, the converted stagecoach stop reverberated with words of congratulations as 200 friends and family members gathered for a Lone Star soiree.

52008: Lindsay Lohan at Historic Hollywood Theater

A hip homage to Hollywood's quirkier characters, the handprints of Zelda Rubenstein, whose portrayal of a paranormal medium in the horror flick Poltergeist sent a collective shiver down the spines of cinema buffs in the early 1980's, and cast members of the 1960's cult TV classic Dark Shadows mark the cement blocks that pave the path to the entrance of the Vista Theater. Since the first silent film flickered across its screen in 1923, a steady stream of cinema buffs have munched on buttered popcorn beneath the crystal chandeliers of this Sunset Boulevard landmark, an architectural treasure whose Egyptian-themed ticket counter was immortalized on May 9, 2008 in a photo shoot with Lindsay Lohan. The carved cartouches adorned with ankhs and scarabs provided a dramatic backdrop for the silver screen star as she posed to promote her upcoming line of leggings.

Dark sunglasses are de rigeur for any Tinseltown temptress, and following the photo session LiLo slipped on a pair of shades for a stroll down Robinson Boulevard, which included a stop at Cuvee Wine & Food. The paparazzi a constant presence, Hollywood TV captured the moments on film:

51908: Gothic Garb for Kate Moss Wedding?

Kate Moss has ruled the runway in a number of fashionable frocks over the years, and it seems only fitting that the catwalk queen might chose the royal color purple for the most important designer silhouette she will ever slip into-- her wedding dress. According to the Daily Star, the supermodel will either be eye-catching in aubergine or a beauty in black when she sashays down the aisle in a full-skirted gown accented with charms featuring a musical motif in honor of the groom, guitarist Jamie Hince of the indie band The Kills.

Attracted to the avant-garde, the bride-to-be has reportedly requested conceptual artists Dinos and Jake Chapman to create unconventional centerpieces for her wedding reception. When Kate's wedding day arrives, artist Jake Chapman, among the masterminds to concoct Agent Provocateurs latest ad campaign, which features the mesmerizing mannequin, will undoubtedly think back to his own special day back in 2004 when the supermodel sat in a pew at London's Christ Church to witness his exchange of vows with model Rosemary Ferguson.

The reception, which is said to take place following a wedding in the Cotswolds, will be held at Wapping Project. Formerly a hydraulic power station, the venue will be an industrial idyll for the bride and groom's Gothic gathering.

51808: Actor Jamel Debbouze's Wedding

Actor/comedian Jamel Debbouze, whose portrayal of Lucien in the offbeat box office hit Amelie captured the collective hearts of movie buffs around the world, won the heart of the woman he loves on May 7, 2008. The cinema star walked in the footsteps of ancient French kings as he and his bride, M6 news anchor Melissa Theuriau, entered the Abbey of Vaux de Carnay, which echoed with the voice of Cernay's mayor as passages from the Koran and the Bible were recited.

Befitting a bride deemed the most beautiful woman in the world by the French version of FHM, the television presenter, who has clasped a cascading bouquet of roses and greenery as she strolled down the aisle, donned an off-the-shoulder, gossamer gown which created an ethereal effect as she stepped out into the sunlight, which beamed as brightly as the smiles of the newlyweds as received the best wishes of family and friends.

According to the French site 20 Minutes, following the civil ceremony the lovebirds flew to Marrakesh, where they would once again proclaim their eternal devotion to one another during a three day celebration.

51708: Mariah Carey's "I Do" Details

Mariah Carey's latest single may be titled "Bye Bye," but the multi-Grammy winner has confessed that she has just said "hello" to life as the wife of actor Nick Cannon. As the sun sank beneath the ocean waves on April 30, 2008 the bride clutched a bouquet of ivory roses and walked in a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes along a white aisle runner which blanketed the sands on her Windermere Island estate in the Bahamas. The path led her to the shore's edge, where the couple were united in matrimony as they looked out on a horizon which seemed to stretch to infinity.

Although the bride has donned dresses by the world's top designers over the years, for her wedding Mariah was a vision as she spoke her vows in a curve-conscious, off-white creation from designer familiar with her physique-- Nile Cmylo, who fashioned the frocks for her Adventures of Mimi tour. The groom opted for a classic white on white suit from Balenciaga.

The couple share their special day with their fans in People magazine, which goes on sale May 9, 2008.

The fragrant white rose petals which rained down on Princess Margarita of Bourbon-Parma and lawyer Tjalling Ten Cate seemed to christen their love as the couple exited the Maarsbergen venue where they were pronounced husband and wife on May 3, 2008. According to Hello magazine, Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands, the bride's aunt, was among those who blessed the bride and groom with their presence at the civil ceremony.

51308: Celebrities Shine at Super Hero Soiree

Superstars of both the silver and small screens gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, 2008 for a soiree saluting the stylish silhouette of super heroes. Co-chaired by George Clooney, who once donned Batman's brooding black mantle, and Julia Roberts, the Met rolled out the red carpet for a phalanx of fashion-savvy stars, including newlywed Beyonce, who looked the part of a blushing bride in a pale pink Armani Prive gown, while the tulle skirt of newly engaged Scarlett Johansson's Dolce & Gabbana design was reminiscent of a bridal veil.

A bevy of Hollywood beauties in black brought drama to the red carpet, including Gossip Girl's Blake Lively, who looked glamorous in a Ralph Lauren garment; Claire Danes, who had slipped into a Narciso Rodriguez design and Rachel Bilson, who opted for a Calvin Klein creation, People magazine online reported. Representing the opposite end of the color spectrum, Naomi Watts wowed the crowd in a white wardrobe choice by Thierry Mugler and Victoria Beckham was an alabaster vision in Armani, while Jennifer Connelly's black and white Balenciaga ensemble struck a harmonious balance between the two contrasting hues.

Before joining the flock of fashionistas getting a sneak peek at the clothing of costumed crime fighters, a number of notables posed for photographers in gowns which rivaled the saturated shades of comic book panels, including country crooner Taylor Swift, who glowed in a gold Badgley Mischka gown and Eva Longoria, who wore an aubergine Marchesa masterpiece to the opulent event.

Fans can follow in the steps of their favorite stars and visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibition, which is on display on the first floor of the special exhibition galleries, from May 7 - September 1, 2008.

Mirroring the beauty of the bluebonnets and buttercups that grace the Texas landscape each spring, 14 attendants will walk down the aisle in silk crinkle chiffon dresses by designer Lela Rose before the bride makes her grand entrance in an Oscar de la Renta creation. Expressing the couple's deep abiding faith, a limestone cross will serve as the altar and will remain as a permanent fixture on the site, forever marking the place where their two souls were united in the bonds of matrimony.

In the following video clip from TXA 21, see sketches of the bridesmaids dresses and hear tidbits about the upcoming ceremony:

51008: Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Engaged

A year-long romance has led to an impending "I do" for actress Scarlett Johansson and actor Ryan Reynolds. Although a wedding date has yet to be announced, no doubt thoughts of her own eventual walk down the aisle crossed the bride-to-be's mind as she stood by her prospective groom's side on March 8, 2008 and watched her mother marry atop a replica of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

This marks the second engagement for the Blade: Trinity star. Ryan Reynolds had presented singer Alanis Morissette with a diamond-studded platinum engagement ring topped with a 3.75-carat, emerald cut diamond in 2004. The couple's wedding was called off in 2006.

50908: Chelsy Davy Sees Prince Harry Receive Medal

Embraced by the royals, Chelsy Davy made her first official public appearance with her long-time love Prince Harry as the camouflage-wearing lieutenant joined 170 members of his regiment at Combermere Barracks in Windsor, England on May 5, 2008. Her face beaming with pride, the blonde beauty took her place in the front row by her beau's brother Prince William and his father Prince Charles and watched as Princess Anne pinned an Operational Service Medal on the third in line to the throne in recognition of the 10 weeks he served in Afghanistan. (The young prince's tour of duty, which was to last four months. was reluctantly cut short when the media divulged the news of his whereabouts.)

Following the ceremony, the regiment marched through the street to thunderous applause from on-lookers who lined the route to Holy Trinity Church, a 19th century Parish and Garrison house of worship deemed "the church on the roundabout" by Windsor residents. Once inside, the soldiers bowed their heads both in thanks for their safe return and in remembrance of the service men and women who have fallen in the line of duty.

Royal watchers may soon see Chelsy Davy at another royal occasion, as the Daily Mail reports that the Leeds University student has received an invitation to the wedding of Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips and his bride-to-be Autumn Kelly, which will take place at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 17, 2008.

50808: Jenna Bush To Wear Anthony Nak Earrings on Wedding Day

As the sun begins to descend on Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas on May 10, 2008, its last rays will sparkle on the pair of Anthony Nak earrings which Jenna Bush will wear when she says "I do" to Henry Hager. 50608: Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher Celebrate Premiere of "What Happens in Vegas"

As Cameron Diaz walked the red carpet outside of Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, California for the Hollywood premiere of What Happens in Vegas, no doubt the blonde beauty thought back to the day that she strolled down a white carpet aisle as she filmed an imaginary "I do" with co-star Ashton Kutcher. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the onscreen pair stepped in front of the camera for their Neon City nuptials on November 1, 2007 inside the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's wedding chapel, which offers real life couples an option of six wedding packages, each one fittingly named after a romantic tale from the silver screen.

The Palms is another Vegas vision that will appear when the lights go down in theaters on May 9, 2008. Scenes were lensed amid the pulsating lights of Rain nightclub and at one of the hotel's poolside bungalows.

50508: Johnny Depp Films at Historic Lodge

Like the echo of a memory that refuses to die, the staccato sounds of gun fire rang out once again at the Little Bohemia Lodge on April 23, 2008, 74 years to the day after the Wisconsin restaurant was ravaged by bullets during a shootout between the FBI and John Dillinger's band of thieves. On this day, however, it was not the notorious gangster who narrowly escaped the long arm of the law but the criminal's cinematic doppelganger, Johnny Depp, who is currently inhabiting the persona of the bank robber as filming continues on the upcoming drama, Public Enemies, the Wausau Daily Herald reported.

The Little Bohemia Lodge wears its battle scars with pride, and today patrons can not only mull over the menu, but also take a trip back in time as they gaze at the barrage of bullet holes that pock the walls and the Tommy gun, luggage, and other personal effects which have found a permanent home behind glass display cases at the lodge after being abandoned by the felons upon their flight to temporary freedom. The doors of the Manitowish Waters dining establishment are open to customers seven days a week.

50408: Mariah Carey's Wedding

Freedom has been a running theme throughout Mariah Carey's musical career, from christening her 1997 album after her trademark Butterfly-- a symbol of the singer emerging from the chrysalis of her former life to become both a stronger and wiser woman and performer-- to titling her 2005 CD The Emancipation of Mimi. It seems only fitting that, when the time arrived to tie the knot with the man she loves, the multi-Grammy winning recording artist would pledge her devotion on Windermere Island, a small strip of land nestled next to the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, a Greek word meaning "free."

Rumors of a romance and upcoming wedding became reality on April 30, 2008 for superstar Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon. Although the bride offered a clue regarding her impending "I do" when she appeared at an event wearing a platinum engagement ring from Jacob The Jeweler, adorned with a pale pink, emerald-cut 10 carat diamond embraced by 58 vivid pink diamonds which are guarded on either side a crescent-shaped diamond (totaling 17 caratsThe New York Post reports)-- when the couple exchanged vows it was a private affair blessed by the presence of a few close friends, including rapper Da Brat.

50308: Bond Girl Gemma Arterton Films "Tess of the d'Urbervilles"

Actress Gemma Arterton may be a fresh face on the cinematic scene, but the British beauty who will go toe to toe with Daniel Craig's 007 in the upcoming Bond flick Quantum of Solace is currently stepping into the shoes of one of a timeless, tragic literary heroine as filming continues on a BBC version of Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles. According to the Gazette Internet Edition, the director recently yelled "That's a wrap!" as scenes were completed at Owlpen Manor, a Tudor era treasure in Gloucestershire, England.

When television viewers tune in to watch the drama unfold, they just may spot a spirit hovering in the background. Legend states that four ghosts, including that of Queen Margaret of Anjou, roam the rooms of the 900-year-old edifice. Once a visitor to the regal retreat, Owlpen was the final venue to hear the carefree laughter of the queen, who would lose both her husband and son to the ravages of war only days after her departure, and many believe that her restless soul lingers on at the place of her last happy memories.

50208: Lindsay Lohan Dines at E. Baldi

Like the flicker of fireflies in the dark, the blinding lights of paparazzi flashbulbs momentarily illuminate the darkness outside of E. Baldi restaurant on any given evening. Drawn in by the tempting Tuscan-inspired dishes prepared by master chef Edoardo Baldi as well as the reputation of his father's Ristorante Giorgio Baldi, an elegant eatery in Santa Monica, a steady stream of celebrities routinely make reservations at the Beverly Hills dining establishment. In the past, such Hollywood royalty as Warren Beatty and Annette Bening have mulled over the menu at E. Baldi, and in late April 2008 Hollywood TV spotted Lindsay Lohan walking through the restaurant's door in order to enjoy a gastronomic journey to Italy.

Foodies wishing to sample E. Baldi's star-quality cuisine can add a touch of Tinseltown to their own home-cooked spaghetti or mozzarella with the help of the restaurant's own brand of sauces. Puttanesca, tomato and basil, mushroom, arrabbiata, pizzaiola and garden vegetables sauces are available by calling the number provided on the restaurant's official website.
