Legend states that a faerie queen once bequeathed the banner to the castle's laird with instructions that members of her enchanted kingdom would come to his clan's aide if the flag was waved. Their summons would be granted only three times, and now the banner can only be used once more before the portal into the sprite's world is closed to the castle's keepers forever.
