44808: "Made of Honor" Filming Locations

Featuring a bouquet of beautiful cinematic scenery, Patrick Dempsey's latest feel good flick Made of Honor marries timeless romantic comedy situations with heartfelt emotions. Here are just a few of the UK locales movie buffs will see when the lights go down in theaters on May 2nd:

Filming Locations in Scotland

Clachaig Inn: This 300-year-old bed and breakfast was a silent spectator as cameras positioned just a few feet away captured the magic of Hagrid's hut for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on Glencoe's verdant landscape. In Made of Honor, however, it's the Highland hideaway's moment to shine, as the friendly facade of the 23-bedroom retreat is cast as the Scottish lodging locale for Michelle Monaghan's character, Hannah. The images of pick axes on the inn's welcoming sign attest to the fact that Glencoe is considered the home of Scottish Mountaineering, and climbers determined to scale the heights of the surrounding rocky terrain often stop by the B&B for a beverage at one of its three bars. Proudly serving real ale, Clachaig Inn has been deemed the "Best Pub in Scotland."

Dunvegan Castle: Having already appeared on the silver screen in the 1986 Christopher Lambert fantasy flick The Highlander, Scotland's oldest continuously inhabited castle is a star in its own right. However, it is the magic of faeries, and not the magic of Hollywood, that enchants the tourists who walk through this 13th century sanctuary on the Isle of Skye. Although its threadbare remains may not seem impressive at first glance, visitors who take the castle's 45-minute tour soon discover that the faded cloth housed within a glass showcase in Dunvegan's dining room is actually a faerie flag. Legend states that a faerie queen once bequeathed the banner to the castle's laird with instructions that members of her enchanted kingdom would come to his clan's aide if the flag was waved. Their summons would be granted only three times, and now the banner can only be used once more before the portal into the sprite's world is closed to the castle's keepers forever.

Watch this Moviefone trailer for Made of Honor then discover some of the English venues that star in the movie:

Filming Locations in England

Broughton Castle: According to IMDB, this 14th century English edifice also graces the screen by its presence in Made of Honor. Forever linked to movie history by the blood of its present proprietor, a cousin of the celebrated Fiennes siblings, actor Joseph Fiennes found himself walking in the footsteps of his forefathers as he portrayed the Bard in a dance sequence filmed inside the castle's Great Hall for the Academy Award-winning feature Shakespeare in Love. Utilized by a number of production companies over the years, Broughton's Oak Room has also echoed with the footfall of actress Helena Bonham-Carter as she inhabited the cinematic soul of the ill-fated queen for nine days, Lady Jane.

The Park Lane Hotel: Like a true star of the silver screen, this 1920's era architectural beauty knows how to play a challenging character. This 5-star, Sheraton-owned sanctuary in London's prized Piccadilly area, which became a cinema celebrity after appearing in The End of the Affair with Julianne Moore and Ralph Fiennes, portrays a New York City hotel in this romantic romp.

44708: Lindsay Lohan at Beverly Hills Salon

Polishing up her appearance for the LG Electronics Event in West Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan dropped in at Byron Williams in late April to have her digits decorated. Hollywood TV captured images of the box office beauty and her pal Samantha Ronson, who patiently waited inside the Beverly Hills salon on Civic Center Drive. Offering a wide range of services from makeup application to color highlights, a steady stream of celebrities, including Kirsten Dunst and Nicole Richie, have walked through the venue's yellow door.

The frequent flier friends have recently returned to the City of Angels from a sojourn which included a stop in Chi-town, where the Chicago Sun-Times reports that a trilby-wearing Ronson applied her turntable techniques at Crimson Lounge, its musical motif aptly located inside the Hotel Sax. The neon lights of Las Vegas loomed next on the horizon for the pair of paparazzi magnets, who checked in to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino before Ronson brought the beats to the grand opening of Torrid nightclub, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

44608: Dita Von Teese's "Be Cointreauversial Show"

The neo-gothic glamour of The Angel Orensanz Foundation Center for the Arts in New York City provided a stylish setting recently for burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese, who was the toast of the town after her titillating tribute to the famed French liqueur, Cointreau. Over 500 famous faces, including Sex and the City hunk Jason Lewis, actress/designer Tara Subkoff and French-born fashionista Catherine Maladrino looked on as the stiletto-wearing star strolled on stage, every alabaster inch a vintage Vargas vision in a flurry of feathers and a 350,000 Swarovski crystal costume designed by bosom burlesque buddy, Catherine D'Lish.

As much a celebration of the feminine mystique as a naughty, nostalgic wink to the peep shows of the past, the "Be Cointreauversial Show" climaxed as Von Teese took a sip of the newly-christened Cointreau Teese cocktail, Cointreau's latest liqueur.

The following video clip from MediaSeed.tv offers a taste of Dita's daring martini glass bath:

43708: David Tennant Celebrates Birthday in Wales

Although his Christmas pantomime performance prevented Torchwood star John Barrowman from enjoying slices of wedding cake after his December 2006 commitment ceremony to architect Scott Gill at St. David's Hotel and Spa, on April 19, 2008 Timelord David Tennant had plenty of time to nibble on his Tardis-inspired birthday cake at the same 5-star venue at Cardiff Bay, Wales. According to icWales, Russell T. Davies, the mastermind behind the sci-fi hit's return to television, and Tennant's new lady love Jennie Fava were among the 100 guests to sing a round of "Happy Birthday" to the Doctor Who star, who had turned 37 the day before.

A view familiar to Harry Potter fans, the house of worship was sprinkled with showbiz snow for the shoot, as extras in period clothing turned the scene into a Victorian vision.

43508: Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia Engaged

The cascading droplets that continuously tumble into the basin of Rome's Trevi Fountain were not the only waterworks that flowed in Trevi square in mid-April 2008. Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik happily conveyed to Hello! magazine that tears sprang from his eyes after he knelt on one knee in front of the Eternal City's architectural wonder and asked for singer Gabriela Irimia's hand in marriage. The marble likenesses of Triton, Oceanus, Abundance and Salubrity were silent witnesses as the entertainer, known as one half of the singing sister duo The Cheeky Girls, accepted. Although the couple plan to wait until either 2009 or 2010 to walk down the aisle, the bride-to-be, who is now sporting a platinum and diamond Tiffany engagement ring purchased at Selfridges, is already dreaming of her dream "I do" destination-- a castle in her native city of Transylvania, Romania.

43408: Actress Tia Mowry's Wedding

From 1994 through 1999, actress Tamera Mowry shared the small screen with her twin in the TV comedy Sister, Sister, and on April 20, 2008 she shared in her sibling's special day, donning an aubergine gown for her role as the maid of honor in the wedding of actress Tia Mowry and actor Cory Hardrict.

Having spent her formative years in the entertainment industry, it comes as little wonder that Tia Mowry, who currently appears in the CW series The Game, chose designer to the stars Tadashi, whose form-fitting fashions have graced the frames of such high-profile beauties as Carrie Underwood, Kristen Bell and Kelly Clarkson, to create rose-hued dresses for her bridesmaids, while the bride herself slipped into a wedding dress by designer Kevan Hall, whose red carpet-ready wear has been worn by Katherine Heigl, Katharine McPhee and Vanessa Minnillo.

At the start of the half hour-long outdoor ceremony, her Erica Courtney jewelry sparkled in the natural light as a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes carried the bride down the aisle at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore Santa Barbara to the accompaniment of crooner Kenny Lattimore singing "For You."

43308: Eli Manning's Wedding

Over the years, the splashing waves of the Sea of Cortez has applauded its approval as a number of notables have said "I do" on the sandy shore at the One & Only Palmilla resort. In 2006, a Buddhist monk joined actor Oliver Hudson and actress Erinn Bartlett in matrimony, while in 2007 Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd chose the locale to pledge his eternal devotion to actress Alice Evans. On April 19, 2008, it was New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning whose heart pounded like the rolling surf as he exchanged vows with Abby McGrew.

According to the New York Daily News, six bridesmaids in strapless, champagne-hued creations walked toward the altar before the sounds of a guitar, violin and cello heralded the arrival of the bride, who clutched a bouquet of white roses as she strolled past in a strapless, lace-accented wedding dress designed with a short train which gently brushed the white aisle runner that led her to the groom, who had donned a khaki suit for the occasion. Taking their places on a flower-bedecked platform, the sun began to make its descent as the couple were united in a 16-minute ceremony.

A place where they have created romantic memories in the past, the couple chose the One & Only Palmilla resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico not only for their destination "I do," but also for their honeymoon. After returning to reality, the newlyweds will be busy writing thank you notes for the Juliska ice blue scalloped serving bowl and Graham footed goblets listed on their Neiman Marcus wedding registry and the Riedel Vinum Bordeaux glasses purchased from their registry at Williams-Sonoma.

Escorted down the aisle by her son, the bride-- dressed in an off-white wedding dress designed with bejeweled straps and a plunging v neckline, clutched a bouquet of white tulips as she walked past the 340 friends and family members who stood in her honor inside the white marquee erected for the occasion, Hello magazine online reports. The gathered guests bore witness as she received a wedding band to accompany the diamond solitaire engagement ring from jeweler Timothy Hardie which has graced her hand since August 2007, when her love proposed at the site of their first date, the Strathhearn restaurant at The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire.

Following the exchange of vows, guests dined on steak and salmon and danced to the sounds of the ABBA tribute group Bjorn Again at Rossdhu House, a Georgian era edifice on the golf club's estate, near the ever flowing waters of Loch Lomond, which reflected the sparkle of fireworks as the reception reached its end.

43008: Carrie Underwood Films Music Video in Vegas

Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, as lamented in the lyrics of Carrie Underwood's latest tune, "Last Name." Playing a prominent role in the upcoming single's storyline, it's only fitting that the Neon City will star alongside the season four American Idol winner in a video version of the song. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 12.5 million lights on the Fremont Street Experience offered a dramatic backdrop for the singing sensation as she stepped in front of the camera on April 15, 2008, while the solitary, staring eye that adorns the tabletops at MGM Grand's Tabu Ultra Lounge provided a voyeuristic vision as filming continued, OK magazine online revealed.

Just seconds from the Strip, the multi- platinum-selling songstress was also seen at the Platinum Hotel and Spa on April 16, 2008. A 225-suite retreat, this Vegas venue-- the only non-gaming, non-smoking hotel in the area, offers guests an illuminating dining experience at its in-house restaurant Kilawat, and a rejuvenating regime at the WELL spa.

42508: Singer Shaila Durcal's Wedding

Taking the platinum-selling recording artist by the arm, Shaila Durcal's father began to escort his daughter down the aisle on April 12, 2008, confident in the knowledge that the loving memory of the bride's mother, the late, legendary Rocia Durcal, also accompanied the singer as she made her grand entrance inside the club Tres Vidas in Acapulco, Mexico.

Standing in her honor, family and friends watched as the bride, clutching a bouquet of ivory roses, walked past in a creation by Rosa Clara, whose bridal attire has also been worn by pop star Paulina Rubio and supermodel Esther Canadas. The Chantilly lace hem of her full skirt and the gossamer fabric of a lace-edged veil gently brushed the white aisle runner which led the bride down the path to her love, Dorio Ferreira. Harmonizing with the bride, the groom opted for a white, pin-striped suit, which he paired with a lavender tie.

A white gold wedding band from Tiffany's, which now rests on the finger of the singing sensation, surely shined in the sun as the couple enjoyed their first days as husband and wife. According to El Universal, the newlyweds were pondering a honeymoon stay in Thailand or the Philippines.

After saying farewell to their well-wishers, the newly dubbed Mr. and Mrs. embarked on a honeymoon excursion to Las Vegas.

42208: Prince William and Prince Harry Attend Pre-Wedding Party

Proving that boys will be boys, even if the lads are from royal lineage, Prince William and Prince Harry were among the revellers who chugged back pints of brew during a bachelor bash weekend for their soon-to-wed cousin, Peter Phillips. According to the Isle of Wight County Press, the cozy, 16-room Rawlings Hotel was the group's home base during a three-day stay in the seaside town of Cowes.

Transforming from princes into court jesters, the second and third in line to the throne and their coterie of chums made the prospective groom carry a doll as they popped into several of the town's pubs, including the Painters Arms and the Anchor Pub inside The Anchor Inn, where real ale has flowed since the days of Queen Victoria.

Peter Phillips has one month to recover from his raucous weekend and scrub the black marker glasses and mustache drawn on his face by his partying friends. The son of Princess Anne will stand at the altar at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel with bride Autumn Kelly on May 17, 2008.

42108: Ivana Trump's Wedding

Although their marriage did not stand the test of time, respect remains between Donald Trump and his former wife Ivana Trump, and on April 12, 2008 the mogul was among the 500 guests who gathered at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida as the socialite became the bride of Rossano Rubicondi.

Taking inspiration from his press-imposed moniker ("The Italian Stallion,") the groom strode to his place to the strains of Bill Conti's theme from Rocky, while the bride opted for the unabashedly romantic melody of Il Divo's rendition of "Unchained Melody." According to People magazine online, rays of sunlight danced on the pink diamonds of her Manolo Blahnik shoes, which carried the bride along the path leading to her love's side. Although 500 guests looked on, the cluster of fragrant orchids and roses that draped over a 15-foot tall arch provided a touch of intimacy as Donald Trump's sister(a federal judge who presided over the nuptials) pronounced the couple husband and wife.

Slipping out of her blush pink chiffon and gold Zuhair Murad wedding dress, the newly dubbed Mrs. donned another dress by the designer for the reception. Entertainment Tonight reports that the bride sparkled in a creation of pink beads and lace as she cut slices of a 600 pound, 12-foot tall, gold-gilded wedding cake.

The newlyweds will spend their first days of wedded bliss enjoying a honeymoon in the Maldives.

41508: Prince Charles and Camilla Mark Third Wedding Anniversary

On April 9, 2005 a car emblazoned with the words "Just Married" whisked newlyweds Prince Charles and his bride, the former Camilla Parker Bowles, from Windsor Castle at the start of a journey that would ultimately lead the pair to Birkhall on the Balmoral estate, where they would spend their first 10 days as husband and wife. On April 9, 2008, the couple welcomed an intimate gathering of guests to their hideaway in the Highlands as they celebrated three years of wedded bliss, Hello magazine online reports.

Although accommodation is not available to the public in Balmoral Castle or Birkhall (the former Balmoral residence of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, which Prince Charles inherited upon his grandmother's passing), romantics who wish to follow in the footsteps of the royals can book a stay in one of the many holiday cottages that grace the Balmoral estate. Two Colt cottages are cozy quarters situated near the castle, while the beauty of Connachat Cottage is framed by the trees of Ballochbuie Forest. The babbling waters of the River Dee can be heard from Garb Allt Shiel, a venue that can hold up to seven guests, while occupants staying inside the Old Schoolhouse are awarded with a view of the River Muick. Able to accommodate up to 13 guests, Alltnaguibhsaich Lodge is nestled in the verdant grounds of Glen Muick.

During her three-season stint as waitress Liz Parker on the former sci-fi series Roswell, actress Shiri Appleby served such fare as Alien Blasts and Galaxy Subs to Crashdown customers. On a recent epicurean adventure, however, it was the TV star's turn to mull over the menu as she celebrated the 33rd birthday of Scrubs star Zach Braff at the STK restaurant in West Hollywood. Although recent reports have stated that the couple had split, People magazine online revealed that the pair were a happy Tinseltown twosome as they sipped champagne along with fellow dining guests Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke.

Although seafood fare, including oysters on a half shell, big eye tuna and Maine lobster play a prominent role at STK, the glitterati group chose to dine on the restaurant's signature steaks. Spring is a time of reawakening, not only of the earth, but also in a person's heart. 41008: Celebrities Attend Wedding of Hollywood Stylist

As a stylist to the stars, Estee Stanley has helped such notables as Eva Mendes and the Olsen twins shine in the spotlight. On the evening of April 5, 2008, however, all eyes were on the co-creator of the Miss Davenporte clothing line as she donned a strapless, frill-festooned wedding dress for her walk down the aisle.

The Art Deco ambiance of the venue, which in the past has been the wedding locale for Samantha Who? cast member Melissa McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone as well as Goth rockers Jessicka Fodera and Christian Hejnal, provided the perfect compliment for the bride and groom's sophisticated, black and white-themed affair.

40908: Tenor Juan Diego Florez Marries

A bride has not stepped foot across the threshold of the Lima Cathedral since 1949, but on April 5, 2008 wedding bells once again chimed inside the house of worship as Julia Trappe made her grand entrance. Following the five p.m. nuptials, the couple joined family and friends at the Pedro de Osma museum for the reception, El Universal reports.

40708: Country Star Trent Tomlinson's Wedding

The placid waters of Lake Norman provide more than a scenic view whenever country crooner Trent Tomlinson and Jessica Lowman look out their window of their new home. Its mirrored surface also reflects the couple's shared memory of an October day in 2007, when the couple drifted along in a boat as the singer asked his love of the past two years to be his bride. The proposal led the pair to the altar on March 22, 2008, when 300 guests rose from the pews inside the Olivet Baptist Church-- the Catawba, North Carolina house of worship where the bride had said her prayers as a child, The Charlotte Observer reported.

North Carolina photographers Jennifer Brown and Gina Covington of Bella Panache photography captured the moments as bridesmaids in striking black and white silhouettes walked down the aisle ahead of the bride, who made her grand entrance in a strapless, figure-hugging creation-- the garment's flared, dropped-waisted skirt, along with the gown's train and diaphanous veil, gently sweeping aside the scattered rose petals that lined the edge of the aisle runner as she walked by in a pair of high-heeled Alisha Hill sandals. Dramatic accents, including opera gloves, a bejeweled arm band and a tiara, allowed the bride's personality shine through.

Following the reception, the newlyweds embarked on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Although there were snags in the ceremony (in the form of flower arrangements that never arrived) and on their Mexico honeymoon (overbooked and canceled flights) the singer who titled his debut CD Country Is My Rock realized that he has another rock to cling to whenever times turn bad-- his wife.

40608: Summer Wedding in the Works for Nicole Richie?

While only time will tell if this rumor will become reality, fans of Tinseltown twosome Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, "curiouser and curiouser" for pre- "I do" details, read news from OK! magazine online that a Lewis Carroll-inspired bakery could be in contention to concoct a wedding cake for the couple, who will reportedly soon send out their wedding invitations for a summer ceremony. According to the entertainment news site, a wedding planner has been sampling the wide array of cakes made by New York City bakery Alice's Tea Cup, which range from the sweet sentimental styling of a sugar flower-festooned Bride's Bouquet to the hip, vintage vibe of a La Vie Boheme confection.

As with any glitterati gossip, this tasty tidbit should be taken with a grain of salt. However, fans of The Simple Life star unable to visit one of the reality personality's favorite eateries can still sample some of the 140 blends of tea brewed at Alice's Tea Cup by ordering from the venue's online gift shop, which offers teas as well as Alice In Wonderland-themed tea pots, cups and saucers.

40508: Jennifer Garner, Matthew McConaughey Filming in Massachusetts

Each year, approximately 450 brides walk down the aisle of the Martha-Mary Chapel in the town of Sudbury, Massachusetts. In early April 2008, wedding bells of the cinematic variety chimed at the colonial style house of worship for actress Jennifer Garner as she clutched a bouquet and walked inside the pine-constructed building while cameras rolled on the upcoming romantic comedy The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Dressed in a strapless creation enhanced with lace, the former Alias star surely reminisced about her own 2005 seaside ceremony with husband Ben Affleck at the Parrot Cay resort while her co-star, Hollywood hunk Matthew McConaughey, filmed a scene for the flick amid the trees that frame the beauty of the pristine white church, the Metrowest Daily News revealed.

40308: Singer Olavo Bilac's Wedding

On March 22, 2008, the lead singer of the Portuguese rock group Santos e Pecadores (Saints and Sinners) exchanged vows with his angel, Alexandra Baptista, the website Caras reports. The sight of footmen, painted in a mural on either side of the front doors at Quinta de Santa Sofia in São Domingos de Rana, Portugal, welcomed 250 friends and family members who rose in honor of the bride, who clutched a cascade bouquet composed of yellow roses and greenery as she made her grand entrance. The groom, Olavo Bilac, dressed in a black morning jacket and grey trousers, watched his love of the past two years walk down the aisle-- the ruffled fabric of her strapless white ballgown and her long, diaphanous veil gently brushing aside the perfumed rose petal scattered on the path which led her to his side.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds and their guests gathered in a reception room bathed in white for a feast topped with a three-tier wedding cake. As the evening progressed, the groom-- who had judged future married couples as they vied for the top prize in the reality series Cantando e Dancando Por um Casamento de Sohno (Singing and Dancing for a Dream Wedding)-- took his bride by the hand and walked on to the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife.

40208: Paul McCartney Enjoys Caribbean Getaway

Proving that "All You Need Is Love" to put a smile back on your face, happy hit maker Paul McCartney was recently spotted ambling along the white sands of one of Antigua's beaches during a springtime sojourn with lady friend Nancy Shevell. According to Hello magazine online, the music icon and the American socialite, who helped to buoy the former Beatle's spirits as his legal battle with ex-wife Heather Mills raged on, checked into one of 11 villas at Jumby Bay, a Rosewood resort.

A Caribbean nirvana situated on a 300-acre stretch of the island, the lapping water that rushed on to the resort's shore beckoned to the animal rights activist, who may have been lucky enough to glimpse one of the eagle rays or nurse sharks that call the ocean home as he and his new girlfirend cruised along on a sunfish sailboat. In the evenings, the flap of a blue pelican's wings flying overhead and the rustle of palm fronds in the breeze seemed to wave goodnight to the couple as they returned to their romantic retreat.
