15208: Shia LaBeouf Films At National Historic Landmark

Fans of actor Shia LaBeouf in Riverside, California may have been lucky enough recently to get a bird's eye view of the star, who will soon appear onscreen in the highly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, on his way to the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa to film a scene for his upcoming thriller, Eagle Eye. Stretching out over a city block, the eclectic edifice, with its series of Spanish-style turrets and towers and Mediterranean-motifed domes will provide a dramatic backdrop for the actor and his co-stars Rosario Dawson, Michelle Monaghan and Billy Bob Thornton when the action-packed flick hits theaters in August 2008, OK magazine reports.

Built between 1876 and 1931, the Mission Inn & Spa's history is intimately intertwined with several legendary love stories. Although the Southern California sanctuary boasts two on-site chapels, in 1940 former president Richard Nixon and his bride Pat Nixon chose to exchange vows in the hotel's Presidential Suite, so named after a visit by Theodore Roosevelt. In 1945, sunlight filtered through the Tiffany stained-glass windows that adorn the St. Francis chapel as Bette Davis, a goddess of Hollywood's golden era, walked down the aise on her way to marry William Grant Sherry, and in 1952 Ronald and Nancy Reagan spent the first night together as husband and wife in one of the hotel's suites.

Offered daily, cinema buffs and admirers of architectural masterpieces can take a 75-minute tour of the 239-guest room hotel and its palm-laden grounds.

14808: Celebrities Attend Society Wedding

As a contributing editor at Vogue, Lauren Davis is privy to the fashion forward styles that will be spotted on catwalks in the upcoming season. When the time arrived for her to say "I do" to Andrés Santo Domingo, however, tradition prevailed over trendiness, and on January 18, 2008 she slipped into a strapless creation designed with a ballgown skirt by Olivier Theskyen for Nina Ricci. Nine bridesmaids, each sporting a silhouette by a different designer, walked down the aisle at iglesia Santo Domingo on the island of Baru (near Cartagena, Colombia) before the bride made her grand entrance. Through the diaphanous fabric of her wedding veil blusher, the bride could see designer and Project Runway judge Nina Garcia, model Karolina Kurkova, Andrea Casiraghi and Harrods heiress Camilla Al Fayed stand in her honor as she made her way toward the groom, who presented her with a wedding band to accompany the Alexandrite-and-diamond engagement ring she has worn since June 2006.

Following the ceremony, Ivanka Trump, who will watch her mother exchange vows with Rossano Rubicondi on April 12, 2008 and Presidential First Daughter Barbara Bush, who will head to Canton, Texas for the May 10, 2008 wedding of her sister Jenna, were among the group of friends and family who walked three blocks to the reception before the newlyweds embarked on a honeymoon excursion to the Philippines, the New York Observer reports.

14408: Jenna Jameson at Vegas Venues

Like the Luxor Hotel and Casino, which is currently undergoing a renovation that will morph the Vegas venue from a family-friendly, Egyptian-themed retreat into a party palace, Jenna Jameson is also experiencing a transformation after announcing her retirement from the adult entertainment industry. On January 25, 2008 the eternal video icon celebrated the new chapter in her life as well as her beau's 33rd year on the earth by bounding out of a giant birthday cake at a party held in honor of Tito Ortiz at Luxor's latest nightclub, CatHouse. A top hat added a jot of jauntiness to the scantily-clan siren's ensemble as she took the stage with the lingerie-laden ladies of Luxor, dancing for a crowd that included adult entertainment star and bride-to-be Sunny Leone and boxing legend Mike Tyson.

The following evening, the current Celebrity Apprentice participant and his lady love, who attended the grand opening of CatHouse in December 2007, were among the glitterati who gathered at Bellagio as its newest nightclub, The Bank, officially opened its doors. Bouncing back from his broken relationship with Tracey Edmonds, Eddie Murphy enjoyed the club's European-influenced ambiance, as did Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, Desperate Housewives star Kyle MacLachlan, Untraceable's Billy Burke and Shar Jackson.

Like the title of her 1990 hit single "Me Abraca e Me Beija," Brazilian singer Margareth Menezes was embraced and kissed by her love Robson Costa when the couple were pronounced husband and wife on January 19, 2008 in the Centro Espírita Beneficente Uniao do Vegetal in Lauro de Freitas, Salvador, Brazil. Clutching a bouquet of orange blossoms, the Grammy-nominated entertainer held on to her brother's arm as she was escorted down the aisle in a cream-hued creation of silk, tulle and French lace by Leticia Bronstein Pompeu, who not only designed the delicate pattern of roses on the gown's skirt, but also sewed the names of 20 of the bride's closest friends on the garment's train.

The angelic voices of children serenaded the bride as she made her way toward a bamboo arbor festooned with orchids, where her groom, who wore a dove grey suit for the occasion, waited to present her with a yellow gold wedding band. Following the nuptials, the newlyweds cut slices of a 5-tier wedding cake for their guests, who dined on such elegant entrees as filet tamarindo and lamb with couscous, while the little ones who sang at the ceremony enjoyed a feast of pizza, hot dogs and popcorn, R2cpress reports.

13808: Lauri Waring's Wedding on "The Real Housewives of Orange County"

Fans who faithfully followed the reality TV romance between Lauri Waring and George Peterson on The Real Housewives of Orange County, seen on the Bravo network, were rewarded during the season three finale with scenes from their wedding, which took place on September 8, 2007. Knowing that home is where the heart is, the happy couple decided to be united in matrimony at their residence, and with the guidance of Barbara Wallace of Barbara Wallace Weddings their lawn was transformed into a virtual Garden of Eden, filled with fragrant roses which clung to hedges and archways and orchids which daintily dangled alongside crystal ornaments from the lower branches of the tree where the couple exchanged vows.

As song birds serenaded from the tree tops, bridesmaids and the matron of honor-- each a verdant vision in the green dresses chosen for them-- walked down the aisle ahead of three flower girls who sprinkled rose petals on the path before the bride made her grand entrance. The bride's high-heeled Manolo Blahniks carrying her toward the man she loves, her diaphanous veil and the train of her wedding dress-- a refined silhouette designed with a detailed, body-conscious bodice and a full skirt by former Project Runway contestant Austin Scarlett-- gently swept the ground as she passed by the guests who stood in her honor.

Following the nuptials, a cascade of rose petals seemed to christen their union as the bride and groom walked up the aisle on their way to their reception. Held inside a tent erected on their property, 200 friends and family members drank toasts to the newlyweds from gold-rimmed champagne flutes as the newly pronounced Mrs. Peterson, her diamond jewelry from Black, Starr and Frost sparkling in the glow of crystal chandeliers, lovingly fed the first piece wedding cake to her husband.

Images and a video presentation of the wedding can be found on the bride's official website, www.lauriwaring.com .

13708: Celebrities Celebrate at Harry-O's

Hollywood may have Grauman's Chinese Theater, with its forecourt filled with cement impressions made by movie icons, but on January 20, 2008 the snow-covered ground outside of Harry-O's in Park City, Utah featured the footprints of some of Tinseltown's top talent as Grey's Anatomy star Sandra Oh, Private Practice's Tim Daly and Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden walked toward the entrance of the VIP venue for the 6th annual Ray-Ban Visionary Award ceremony. Held during the Sundance Film Festival, the honor this year was presented to cinematic master Quentin Tarantino, who received the trophy, which is molded into the form of gold-plated Wayfarers, from screen legend Dennis Hopper.

A blast of trumpets and the reverential echo of an organ bade friends and family to rise from the pews at Christ Church in Salzburg, Austria on January 18, 2008 as Annika Middelschulte began to walk down the aisle on her way to her prince charming, Marten Bunnemann. Royal guests Princess Victoria and Queen Silvia of Sweden (Annika's godmother) watched the bride pass by in a winter white gown. Following the ceremony, an arch of swords provided a regal exit for the newlyweds as they left the house of worship and headed for post-wedding festivities which began at the Goldener Hirsch, where Salzburg24 News reports that guests dined on wedding soup and dumplings.

11508: Britney Spears in Baja

Since opening its doors in 1925, a number of famous faces have graced the lobby of the Rosarito Beach Hotel and Resort in Rosarito, Baja, Mexico. While in the past, goddesses of the silver screen's golden era, including Rita Hayworth and Lana Turner, have gazed at the mural depictions of Mexico's past as they checked in to the south of the border sanctuary, on January 9, 2008 it was contemporary icon Britney Spears' turn to soak up the region's culture as she strolled past on her way to her junior suite, according to El Vigia online. Although only briefly in town with her current beau, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, the pop star reportedly bought a souvenir of her stay-- an imitation Gucci bag.

Travelers with more time to spend can book accommodations at the 230-guest room Rosarita Beach Hotel, where patrons can sample the spicy cuisine served at Azteca restaurant or the romantic repasts prepared at Chabert's restaurant before unwinding with a rejuvenating treatment at the hotel's Casa Playa Spa.
