Civil Wedding Photo of Archduchess Marie-Christine

Like all families celebrating a joyous occasion, Archduchess Marie-Christine and Count Rodolphe posed for posterity by their loved ones following their civil ceremony, which took place on the afternoon of December 6, 1008 at the City Hall of Mechelen in Belgium. One hour after the photo was taken, the bride and groom once again exchanged vows during a religious blessing of their union at St. Rumbolds Cathedral.
