112408: George Clooney in Roswell
Ever since the iconic incident on July 7, 1947, Roswell, New Mexico has been linked to the possibility of visitors from outer space. For three days in mid-November 2008, however, the town was visited by a heavenly Hollywood body as George Clooney arrived to shoot scenes for his forthcoming flick Men Who Stare at Goats.Living up to the school motto of "Duty, Honor and Achievement," the cast and crew worked diligently during filming at the New Mexico Military Institute, a venue accustomed to the site of A-listers, having been the alma mater of actor Owen Wilson, football legend Roger Staubach and socialite Conrad Hilton Jr., among others.
People magazine's former Sexiest Man Alive showed up on set after completing scenes days earlier at the Harwood Museum in Albuquerque, OnLocationVacations.com reports.
