110108: TV Journalist Alisha Davis Marries

Throughout her career as a journalist, Alisha Davis has reported the events of the day on Good Morning America, ABC News Now, E! News and MTV. However, on October 18, 2008 the reporter made headlines of her own as she walked down the aisle and said "I do" to Michael Roberts. Celebrating a love in full flower, the happy couple invited family and friends to share in their joy at a ceremony held in the public gardens at Wave Hill, a 28-acre verdant vision in Riverdale, The Bronx.

While most fathers step aside once the bride takes her place by her groom, the lady of the hour's parent, a Methodist minister, made the wedding a family affair as he presided over his daughter's nuptials, while the groom's father,a Baptist preacher, also blessed the couple's union, the New York Times reported.
