Crown Princess Victoria Of Sweden Visits Taj Mahal

She may have grown up amid the splendor of Drottningholm Palace, but even royalty stand in awe at the majestic beauty of the Taj Mahal in the city of Agra. Such was the case with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, who toured the monument made in memory of Emperor Shah Jahan’s lost love on October 19, 2008. Like any other tourist, the heiress apparent to the Swedish throne preserved her stay at the site with snapshots as she walked past the reflecting pool which mirrors the images of nearly 4 million visitors each year.

The Crown Princess is currently on a 10-day tour of India, with an itinerary which takes her to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory, as seen in the photo below) aw well as the cities of Pune, Mumbai and Jodhpur.
