101708: Melanie Chisholm Reportedly Engaged

Traditionally a time of new beginnings, spring's arrival will bring both the birth of a baby and a new life as a wife for former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, will will reportedly celebrate with her child's father, Thomas Starr, the fruition of a love that began to blossom six years ago with a wedding ceremony.

According to the Daily Mirror, the bride-to-be has already mailed invitations to the impending "I do," which might possibly be held in the singer's home town of Liverpool.

UPDATE: Although internet reports have indicated that former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has been making preparations to walk down the aisle in a Roberto Cavalli gown, an announcement on the singer's official website now states that Mel C and Thomas Starr do not currently have plans to marry.
