100808: Rocker Eddie Van Halen Engaged

In tune with his lady love, guitarist Eddie Van Halen proposed to his "Pretty Woman," publicist Janie Liszewski, on August 4, 2008. Perhaps inspired by the displays of engagement rings at the iconic jewelry store, the rocker asked for the hand of his new fiancee while on bended knee in a private room at Tiffany's during the couple's romantic getaway to Hawaii, People magazine reported. The happy couple are currently making plans for a June 2009 wedding ceremony.

The impending I do's will mark a second trip down the aisle for the musician. On April 11, 1981 Eddie Van Halen stood in front of a gathering of 450 friends and family members and slipped a wedding band on the finger of actress Valerie Bertinelli (One Day at A Time, Touched By An Angel) to accompany her one-carat, emerald-cut engagement ring.
