Officially turning 27 on September 16th, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star Alexis Bledel got a jump start on her birthday celebration last week with a jaunt to the Entertainment Capital of the World. The bright lights of the Neon City paled in comparison with the smile on the TV and silver screen beauty’s face as she was presented with a birthday cake at Prive nightclub inside Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on September 12, 2008.

Having once posed as Parmigianino’s” Portrait of a Young Woman (Antea)” in an episode of her former CW show Gilmore Girls, the actress no doubt appreciated the contemporary masterpieces featured in the theatre lobby of the Bellagio upon her arrival for a performance of “O,” another stop on the star’s itinerary, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The sculptures of aerialists, dancers and circus entertainers– the work of artist Richard MacDonald– captures in bronze the fluid beauty of the Cirque du Soleil troupe as they transformed their bodies into works of acrobatic artistry on stage.
