Standing atop a vine-covered swing, platinum-selling country music star Taylor Swift had a clear view of the verdant landscape as sunlight streamed through the trees, illuminating the two-story, pre-Civil War plantation house which was a silent witness as the singing sensation posed for the pages of an upcoming issue of Country Weekly magazine. Dressed for the camera in a full-length, ivory gown, the teen crossover queen’s look was reminiscent of the many brides who have have walked down the aisle at the coveted three-acre property over the years on their wedding day.
Fans of the country cutie have twice the reason to rejoice on September 8, 2008. Not only is it the date in which Country Weekly hits the news stands, the date also marks the singer’s appearance on CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock, which will be broadcast on ABC. Co-hosting a look at the music genre’s annual opportunity for chart-toppers to converse with the folks who fill the concert halls, Swift taped her arrival in the country music capital for the event to share with her fans.
