Actress Heather Matarazzo, whose talent has illuminated the silver screen in such box office fare as The Princess Diaries, Welcome to the Doll House and Scream 3, is preparing to take on the role of a lifetime-- that of cherished wife to her love of the past year, Carolyn Murphy. The movie star, who publicly proclaimed her sexual orientation in 2004, recently asked for Ms. Murphy's hand in marriage, a request that was not only accepted but reciprocated by her partner, Ms. Matarazzo's publicist relayed to E!

Presently enjoying their betrothed status, the happy couple have not announced a date for their impending I do's.
