73108: Baseball Star Jim Edmonds Marries

On July 16, 2008, left-handed Chicago Cubs center fielder Jim Edmonds slipped a wedding band on to the third finger of Allison Raski's left hand, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. A low-key lovebird, "Jimmy Ballgame" donned classic All-American attire- a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers- to pledge his devotion to the mother of his son Landon during a simple afternoon ceremony, which was conducted at the St. Louis Courthouse in Clayton, Missouri.

Following the intimate "I do," the newlyweds stopped by F15teen, the restaurant/lounge co-owned by the groom, which opened its doors to the public in late 2007.
