64208: Leah Wood's Wedding
On June 21, 2008, a gathering of musical masters took place inside the Southwark Cathedral in London as model Leah Wood said "I do" to her love of the past 11 years, TV producer Jack MacDonald, Hello magazine reports. Although Ronnie Wood has earned a larger than life image during his years with the Rolling Stones, the guitarist was a typical proud parent as he linked arms with his daughter and escorted her down the aisle past pews where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Jade Jagger, Jerry Hall and Cilla Black stood in her honor. (Supermodel Kate Moss, along with her rocker beau Jamie Hince and daughter Lila Grace, while arriving late for the ceremony, also attended.)While the bride has worn a number of revealing outfits on the catwalk, for her wedding day she chose a demure design featuring a ruched bodice and a six foot-long train. The model clutched a bouquet of pink, white and purple blossoms which harmonized with the lavender dresses worn by her bridesmaids, whose red rose bouquets matched the flowers that adorned their hair.
A house of worship linked to the immortal Bard, natural light streamed through a stained glass window depicting scenes from Shakespeare's works during the wedding ceremony. The kaleidoscopic figures mirrored the magic that was to come as the newlyweds enjoyed A Midsummer Night's Dream-inspired reception at the home of the bride's father in Kingston, Surrey.
