Father’s Day weekend is a special time for any parent– perhaps even more so for actor Dennis Quaid, whose bond with his young children has grown even stronger after their recent health scare. A recipient of the Maui Film Festival’s Galaxy Award at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, the actor, who will appear on the big screen in 2009 in the action flick G.I. Joe, took time for a family outing, enjoyed a stroll around a palm-laden pathway on the grounds of the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea with his real life leading lady and their Tinseltown twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace.
The couple’s Maui getaway, while work-related, was also a pleasant pre- anniversary excursion. On July 4th Dennis and his wife, the former Kimberley Buffington, will celebrate their fourth year of wedded bliss. The pair, who were pronounced husband and wife on Quaid’s 500-acre ranch in Montana, recently confided to the media that they are leaving the Hollywood life behind in order to raise their little ones in Austin, Texas.
