62708: Singer Rachel Stevens Engaged

During her years in the Britpop group S Club 7, Rachel Stevens lent her vocal support to the smash single "You're My Number One." Now a solo act, the singer who has risen to the top of the UK singles chart with "So Good" and a remake of Andrea True's disco anthem "More More More" has now found the man who ranks first in her heart-- her fiance, Alex Bourne. According The Sun's online site, a romantic getaway to Italy during the first weekend of June 2008 led to a promise of a lifetime together as her love knelt and asked for her hand in marriage.

Currently enjoying their newly-acquired betrothed status, the happy couple have not announced a wedding date.
