Prince Joachim Arrives For Wedding
The Silver Cross of the Order of Dannebrog and King Frederik IX's Centenary Medal glistened in the afternoon sun as Prince Joachim walked toward Mogeltonder Church, but the shine was still not as bright as the beaming smile on the groom's face as he received the congratulations of well-wishers.Young Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix, the groom's sons from his previous marriage, were proud to stand at their father's side on his wedding day. In a touching paternal display, the prince would hug his children as he stood at the altar and waited the arrival of his bride.
