Rumors of a romance and upcoming wedding became reality on April 30, 2008 for superstar Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon. Although the bride offered a clue regarding her impending "I do" when she appeared at an event wearing a platinum engagement ring from Jacob The Jeweler, adorned with a pale pink, emerald-cut 10 carat diamond embraced by 58 vivid pink diamonds which are guarded on either side a crescent-shaped diamond (totaling 17 caratsThe New York Post reports)-- when the couple exchanged vows it was a private affair blessed by the presence of a few close friends, including rapper Da Brat.
