During her years as a co-host on the popular Univision news program Primer Impacto from its launch in 1992 through 2005 and as a guest host on The View in 2006, Myrka Dellanos became accustomed to shining a spotlight on human interest stories. However, it was the reporter who was the focus of attention when it was revealed that the television personality had stepped inside a church in Miami on April 6, 2008 and exchanged vows with Ulysses Daniel Alonso.

Fifteen years her new husband's senior, the age gap has proven not to be a hindrance to the happy couple, who requested that only the bride's mother and her daughter from a previous union share in their special day, according to People En Espanol online.
