40708: Country Star Trent Tomlinson's Wedding
The placid waters of Lake Norman provide more than a scenic view whenever country crooner Trent Tomlinson and Jessica Lowman look out their window of their new home. Its mirrored surface also reflects the couple's shared memory of an October day in 2007, when the couple drifted along in a boat as the singer asked his love of the past two years to be his bride. The proposal led the pair to the altar on March 22, 2008, when 300 guests rose from the pews inside the Olivet Baptist Church-- the Catawba, North Carolina house of worship where the bride had said her prayers as a child, The Charlotte Observer reported.North Carolina photographers Jennifer Brown and Gina Covington of Bella Panache photography captured the moments as bridesmaids in striking black and white silhouettes walked down the aisle ahead of the bride, who made her grand entrance in a strapless, figure-hugging creation-- the garment's flared, dropped-waisted skirt, along with the gown's train and diaphanous veil, gently sweeping aside the scattered rose petals that lined the edge of the aisle runner as she walked by in a pair of high-heeled Alisha Hill sandals. Dramatic accents, including opera gloves, a bejeweled arm band and a tiara, allowed the bride's personality shine through.
Following the reception, the newlyweds embarked on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Although there were snags in the ceremony (in the form of flower arrangements that never arrived) and on their Mexico honeymoon (overbooked and canceled flights) the singer who titled his debut CD Country Is My Rock realized that he has another rock to cling to whenever times turn bad-- his wife.

CORRECTION: I was not the only photographer there. Gina Covington of Bella Panache was also there. We work together as a team on weddings and this was no exception. I don't know who wrote this article, so I thought I would make the correction. :-)
I apologize for the omission. You are both excellent photographers and your work should be recognized-- I've added Gina Covington's name to the article. Thank you for letting me know!
Thank you! We both appreciate it very much :-)
