32508: Country Singer Lee Roy Parnell Engaged

In 1996, country crooner Lee Roy Parnell's single "Heart's Desire" reached number three on the US country charts. Twelve years later, the Texas-born tunesmith has announced that he has found his own heart's desire in clinical oncology manager Julie Albertson, who has accepted his proposal of marriage. According to Country Weekly, the happy couple are currently planning their Nashville nuptials, which will take place in the autumn of 2008.
