31208: Kathy Griffin Presides Over Wedding
Self-professed D-list luminary Kathy Griffin can now also claim the moniker of minister of mirth after presiding over a wedding ceremony on March 8, 2008. According to the New York Daily News, the comedienne, who became an officiant online through the Universal Life Church, had the 100 wedding guests who gathered at the Queens County Farm Museum rolling in the aisle during a 10-minute ceremony which united Brian Anstey and bride Elka Shapiro, who wore a traditional lace-enhanced wedding dress accented with a champagne-hued sash for the event. Fans of the funny lady will have the opportunity to witness the nuptials when the new season of My Life on the D-List airs in June 2008 on the Bravo network.Labels: Celebrity Weddings
