30708: Delta Goodrem Visits Australian Retreat and Spa
In her chart-topping 1975 single, music icon Olivia Newton-John asked the question "Have You Never Been Mellow?" Today, as a co-owner of the Gaia Retreat & Spa, the Grammy Award winner helps world-weary souls reconnect with Mother Earth. According to The Daily Telegraph, the latest glitterati guest to de-stress at the Byron Bay hinterland hideaway was singer Delta Goodrem, whose diamond solitaire engagement ring, presented to her by former Westlife member Brian McFadden during a romantic getaway to Bali in November 2007, sparkled in the sunlight as walked to one of the venue's 20 cottages, which offer views of jacaranda trees and verdant hillsides where patrons practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong. The entertainer, whose voice will soon mingle with that of fellow Aussie Olivia Newton-John in a single recorded to raise funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal, had a wide variety of rejuvenating treatments from which to choose, ranging from reiki, Indian head massages and Cleopatra milk and rose baths at the Amala Day Spa to pilates, yoga and meditation classes.Labels: Celebrity Travel

Delta Goodrem did record a song up near Byron Bay with Olivia Newton-John but it was not just for breast cancer - It was the theme song for Olivia's upcoming Great Walk to Beijing fundraiser for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal that will provide research and treatment for all types of cancer (men and women).
