Lovebirds Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo may have flown back to the states after the Pro Bowl, but the memories of their five-day stay on the island of Oahu will last a lifetime. While in Ko Olina, US magazine reports that the sports world’s latest sweethearts left their footprints on the golden sands by a lagoon guarded by the 17 story Ihilani Resort & Spa, the 387-guest room retreat that became home base during their Hawaiian getaway. The serene sanctuary offers its patrons an 18-hole championship golf course, Hawaiian cuisine at Azul, and the transcendental therapies of the Ihilani Spa.
Knowing that there’s no place like home for a holiday, however, the couple returned to the Lone Star state in time for Valentine’s Day. According to People magazine online, the duo dined at Dallas restaurant Nove Italiano, where the sparkle of Swarovski crystal chandeliers offered a romantic ambiance as the couple scanned the menu for their chosen treats– chocolate-covered strawberries and chocolate mousse– which topped off a repast of spaghetti bolognaise.
