22108: Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt's Wedding

On February 11, 2008, just days after being joined in matrimony with Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt at the Taj Exotica in Goa (in a ceremony which was conducted on February 7, 2008), the bright red powder, known as sindoor, adorning the part in Manyata Dilnasheen Amir Ahmed Sheikh's hair signified her new role as a wife as she and her new husband celebrated a religious blessing of their love at a friend's residence in Versova Badrinath Tower in Mumbai, India. Befitting royalty of Bollywood's silver screen, the actor donned a golden kurta (shirt) with matching pajama pants for the Hindu ceremony, a regal look which was embellished with a scarlet-detailed chunri (a long scarf draped over the kurta). According to Sify.com, the movie star's love of the past two years wore a crimson lehenga, the garment's ornate golden embroidery harmonizing with the actor's ensemble.
