The City of Light became The City of Love for French President Nicolas Sarkozy on the morning of February 2, 2008 as he exchanged vows with his love of the past three months, model Carla Bruni,in a civil ceremony performed in the presence of 20 guests at the Elysee Palace, the official Paris residence of the French leader. The bride, who received a pink, heart-shaped diamond ring created by jeweler Victoire de Castellane for Dior Joaillerie's Fiancee du Vampire collection during a romantic Christmas getaway to Egypt, wore white for the 20-minute nuptials, the Daily Mail reports.
