14508: Queen's Grandson Chooses Wedding Venue

Since Queen Victoria set its foundation stone in 1893, Crathie Kirk has played an integral role in the lives of the British royal family. Located a short distance from Balmoral Castle, the Gothic revival house of worship, where the royals bow their heads for Sunday services during their stays in Scotland, has been a silent witness to the family's milestone moments, from the sorrow felt by Princes William and Harry upon learning of Princess Diana's passing, to the joy of Princess Anne's 1992 wedding to her second husband, Timothy Laurence.

Sixteen years after her second walk down the aisle, the Queen's daughter will watch Autumn Kelly follow in her footsteps on her way to wed Peter Phillips, the Daily Mail reports. While an official date has yet to be announced, early reports indicate that Queen Elizabeth's eldest grandson will slip a wedding band on to his love's finger to accompany her three-diamond engagement ring in May 2008.
