The start of the new year holds special significance for former America's Next Top Model cycle four contestant Michelle Deighton, who not only is awaiting the birth of a daughter in late January, but is also preparing to start a new life as the wife of Survivor: Pearl Islands participant Jon Dalton. In the presence of friends who had gathered together at a New York party to welcome 2008, the prospective groom, (better known to TV viewers as Jonny Fairplay), knelt on one knee and slipped a diamond solitaire engagement ring on to the model's finger, Page Six reports. The couple, who have been an item for the past two years, have not announced a wedding date.Labels: Celebrity engagements
