103107: Dita Von Teese Attends Goth Wedding
As though blessing their new life together as husband and wife, blood red rose petals rained down upon Jessicka Fodera and Christian Hejnal, members of the indie band Scarling, moments after the couple said "I do" on October 13, 2007. According to the L.A. Times, burlesque beauty
Dita Von Teese and Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins were among the guests who gathered to witness the nuptials at Oviatt penthouse, a Los Angeles Art Deco masterpiece deemed a "castle in the air" which was also a wedding locale for "Samantha Who?" co-star
Melissa McCarthy and actor Ben Falcone in October 2005.
A crimson carpet guided the bride down the aisle, the champagne-hued silk and black Chantilly lace of her Adele Mildred and M'Lynn wedding dress gently rustling in time with the Sigur Rós song that played as she walked to to the altar, where her goth groom, garbed in a black suit and silver tie, waited alongside the officiant, who donned an Easter bunny head for the occasion. The couple, who decided that their new marital moniker would be "Addams," sealed their seven-year romance with white gold wedding bands before heading to the reception, where guests sampled a tasty treat-- tufts of pink cotton candy.

103007: Wedding of Austrian Princess
The interior of St. Peter's Abbey in Salzburg, Austria, which rang out with the stirring music of Mozart when the composer's Mass in C Minor debuted at the house of worship back in 1783, echoed with the footsteps of Princess Marie Therese von Hohenberg on October 27, 2007 as the Austrian royal made her grand entrance and began to walk down the aisle toward Anthony Bailey, who heads Prime Minister Gordon Brown's Faith Task Force. The religious paintings of Kremser Schmidt, which grace the walls and ceiling of the church, were silent witnesses to the event as 600 guests, many who attended the couple's
engagement party at St. John's, Smith Square in Westminster in June 2007, stood up from the rows of pews in honor of the bride as she strolled past in a lace-enhanced ivory wedding dress, the gown's train gently sweeping the floor as she made her way to the altar.
Following the religious blessing of their union, junior bridesmaids and pages dressed in white and red garments held the bride's cathedral-length veil aloft as the newlyweds walked beneath a sword arch and posed for photos outside the church before heading for a reception held at the Salzburg Festival Hall. According to The Daily Mail, the pair joined family and friends the following day for a brunch at Salzburg's Museum of Modern Art.

102707: Wedding of Rugby Star Andrew Johns
When the DVD "Andrew Johns- The Story So Far" was released in 2002, the rugby star had no idea that Catherine Mahoney, the woman hired to promote the work, would become a leading player in the following chapters of his life. On October 27, 2007 the publicist boarded a water taxi which bore her to Shark Island, a Sydney Harbour National Park site, where the retired Australian rugby hero waited to make her his wife.
Clutching a bouquet of blush tone and ivory roses, the bride walked past 150 friends and family members, including rugby stars Danny Buderas and Ben Kennedy, toward a canopy composed of French Chantilly lace, the Daily Telegraph reports. Australian website News.com reported that during the 20-minute ceremony, the hauntingly beautiful lyrics from The Phantom of The Opera and the joyous refrain of a song that expressed the couple's feelings on their special day-- The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love"-- echoed inside the house of worship as the couple exchanged vows.
Exiting the chapel, just like over 250 newlyweds who have said "I do" inside Ithaca Presbyterian Church over the past two decades, the couple were greeted with a rainfall of red and white rose petals, which seemed to christen their new life together as they kissed for the first time as husband and wife.

In the 1870's, French Impressionist Edgar Degas sat in the stands at Longchamp, drawing inspiration from the thundering hooves of thoroughbreds to produce one of his early works, "Race Horses at Longchamp."
