Over 100 family and friends rose from wooden pews as the singer, (born Beth Torbert), stepped on to the crimson aisle runner and began her walk to the altar in a lace-embellished mini-dress, which was paired with a candlelight-hued, multi-tiered detachable skirt with ruffle accents, the Edmonton Sun reports. As the performer's parents read passages from the Bible, the bride stood by the groom's side, her pink, diaphanous veil edged with white lace cascading from her black hair as she received a wedding band to accompany the engagement ring she had been given in May 2007, which had been presented during a romantic dinner in a blue Tiffany box, resting on a silver tray.

Wedding bells chimed in Ditchling, East Essex, England on September 15, 2007 for TV and radio host Jamie Theakston and his love, Sophie Siegle. Before the commencement of the ceremony, "Little Britain" star David Walliams and former soccer player Ian Wright joined the congregation inside the church, and fellow on-air personality Chris Evans, who sat in a pew beside Natasha Shishmanian, his wife of the past month, surely reminisced about his own recent wedding day as he watched the bride walk down the aisle in an ivory-hued gown designed with an empire waist, capped sleeves and a scooped neckline, giving the garment a touch of Regency era romance. During the nuptials the DJ, who wore a classic morning suit for the occasion, presented his love with a wedding band to accompany the engagement ring she received following an April 2007 proposal in Paris.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds posed for photos outside the house of worship. A photographer captured a kiss on film as the couple stood in the church's flower-bedecked entryway, marking the beginning of their life together as husband and wife.

Since opening its doors to the public in 1956, the One & Only Palmilla Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico has welcomed a steady stream of celebrities, ranging from John Wayne, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in the retreat's early days to the latest luminaries to stay in the 172- guest room sanctuary, "Fantastic Four" star Ioan Gruffudd and actress Alice Evans, who chose the hideaway for their September 14, 2007 wedding.
People magazine online reported that the bride walked down the aisle in an Armani creation designed with a strapless, form-fitting bodice which flowed into a skirt composed of waves of organza fabric, the gossamer material's undulating movements reflecting the rolling water of the Sea of Cortez, which can be viewed from the hotel. The groom's wool crepe suit, fashioned by the same designer, harmonized with the navy blue hue of the water as the couple declared their love. According to the site IcWales, actor Matthew Rhys, who currently stars in the ABC drama "Brother & Sisters," stood by the groom in the role of best man.
The couple's union is the fruition of a romance which began on the set of "102 Dalmations" and led to a New Year's Eve proposal inside a bar in Cuba, where the Welsh actor celebrated the arrival of 2006 by slipping a diamond engagement ring into his love's drink.
