Ticket holders hankering to see a sneak peek of Katherine Heigl’s new romantic romp 27 Dresses before its official opening day may do a double take when they spot a mirror image of the recently wed beauty at the 27 theaters across the US chosen to show the much-anticipated chick flick on December 27, 2007. Dressed like the Emmy-winning actress in the movie’s official poster, the 27 models enjoyed their own moment red carpet moment days before as they posed in the forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, a top Tinseltown attraction for over three-quarters of a century. Each year, over four million tourists make their way to 6925 Hollywood Boulevard to place their hands and feet in the impressions made by silver screen immortals ranging from Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, who were the first to cement their status in Hollywood history at the Asian-inspired architectural treasure, to I Am Legend‘s leading man Will Smith, who planted his imprints on December 10, 2007.
