122407: Roe Messner's Wedding
After a difficult year which saw the passing of his wife, evangelical television personality Tammy Faye, 2008 holds the promise of a new beginning for Roe Messner and the woman who helped his broken heart to heal, Melanie Hart. Although the building contractor has overseen the construction of over 1,700 churches over the course of his architectural career, Mr. Messner chose to be joined in the bonds of holy matrimony with his bride in an intimate ceremony held at A Special Memory Wedding Chapel on the night of December 7, 2007, Entertainment Tonight reports. The Las Vegas landmark, designed with a New England-influenced facade, has been the site for several notable nuptials, including that of Spice Girl Mel B, who stopped by the venue's drive-thru window to say "I do" to film producer Stephen Belafonte in June 2007.Labels: Celebrity Weddings
