On November 11, 2007, former Olympic synchronized swimmer Asya Anastasova picked up her bouquet of pink and white flowers, which mirrored the colors of her halter-style wedding dress, and began her walk down the aisle toward the man she cheered on earlier in the year as he became the fastest male to swim the English Channel, Petar Stoychev. The Sofia News Agency reports that 150 guests gathered at The Military Club in Sofia, Bulgaria to witness the exchange of vows.
