0111607: Katharine McPhee Reportedly Engaged

Although Katharine McPhee placed one position shy of becoming the 2006 "American Idol," the Los Angeles-born songbird has held the number one spot in the heart of actor Nick Cokas since their first meeting in 2005. Their budding relationship, which began when the pair shared the stage at The NoHo Arts Center from May 26 - July 31, 2005, when the final curtain fell on the production of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir," gradually turned into "McPheever," and it now appears as though the couple are planning to walk down the aisle. Although an official announcement has yet to be made, reports of impending "I do's" first surfaced in late September 2007, when OK! magazine stated that the singer was sporting an engagement ring.
