A ruby, diamond and sapphire-adorned engagement ring now graces the left hand of Paris-born beauty Marie Cavallier, courtesy of her love since mid-2005, HRH Prince Joachim of Denmark. The news of the impending “I do’s”, which was officially announced at Christiansborg Palace on October 3, 2007, had been a happy secret known by a select few since the fourth in line proposed during a romantic trip to Turkey in the summer of 2007. The bride-to-be, who will be granted the title Her Royal Highness Marie upon marrying her prince, will walk down the aisle in the spring of 2008.
