0102007: Wedding of Former "Coronation Street" Star

As "Coronation Street" prepares to broadcast the on-screen "I do's" between two of its main characters, fans of the iconic ITV soap opera have discovered that one of the program's former stars has recently exchanged vows in real life. The Sunday Mirror reported that 200 guests gathered at St. Oswald's, a 19th century house of worship in Thornton-in-Lonsdale, North Yorkshire, England on October 13, 2007 to witness actress Kate Ford, known to loyal "Corrie" viewers as Tracy Barlow during her six-year stint on the drama, make her grand entrance in a strapless, ivory-hued wedding dress, the gown's cascading layers gently fluttering as she walked down the aisle toward Jon Connerty, her fiance since February 2007, who donned a dove grey suit for the occasion.
