Since opening its doors in 2000, The Bacara Resort and Spa has been the "I do" destination for a number of celebrities, ranging from "Meet The Barkers" Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler to "Dancing With the Stars" contestant John O'Hurley and Lisa Mesloh. According to Life & Style Weekly, "Superman Returns" star Brandon Routh and his bride-to-be, Courtney Ford, may be the next Tinseltown twosome to exchange vows at the elite Santa Barbara, California retreat. Reports have indicated that the couple, who will soon be seen together on the big screen in "Lie To Me," an indie dramedy which also stars Steve Sandvoss and Nick Wechsler, will pledge their love in a sunset ceremony on November 24, 2007, when the bride will receive a wedding band to accompany the Neil Lane engagement ring she has worn since August 2006. It has been reported that Kate Bosworth, the prospective groom's "Superman Returns" co-star, is among those who have received a wedding invitation.
