England’s Princess Beatrice, who wore high-heeled Manolo Blahnik’s as she sashayed down the runway during the recent Fashion For Relief show at the National History Museum, had slipped her pedicured feet into a complimentary pair of babouches weeks before during a September sojourn to Morocco, where she explored the mysteries of Marrakesh with her beau of the past year, Dave Clark. British newspaper The Daily Mail reported that Sir Richard Branson’s protégé and the Duchess of York’s eldest daughter unpacked their luggage in one of the 18 suites at the Kasbah Tamadot Hotel, a regal retreat nestled in the High Atlas Mountains where hotel patrons’ tastebuds embark on a gastronomic journey as they sample an authentic Moroccan meal at Kanoun restaurant and their cares melt away as they enjoy the transcendental treatments offered at the Virgin Touch Salon.
