091907: Castle Wedding for Des O'Connor

Appearing continuously on television screens since 1963, on-air personality Des O'Connor can be considered the king of British TV, and on September 16, 2007 the current host of "Countdown" married his queen, Jodie Brooke Wilson, in a chapel at Newbury, Berkshire, England's most regal estate, Highclere Castle. According to the web site This is London, singer and fellow TV personality Cilla Black was among those to receive a wedding invitation to witness the couple, whose love story began back in 1990 and led to a proposal in 2003, exchange vows in front of their young son, who proudly stood by his father's side in the role of honorary best man.
