On the night of September 1, 2007, model Mari Alexandre held a bouquet of red roses in her hands. The petals, just beginning to unfurl, seemed a symbolic representation of her five month-long romance with singer Fabio Jr., which has blossomed into a love that has lead her to her wedding day. One hundred and fifty guests gathered in the garden at the groom’s residence in Alphaville, Sao Paulo, Brazil to watch the bride walk down the aisle in a white gown designed with a plunging v neckline and a slit skirt and accented with embroidered detailing and lace, a look which was complemented with the addition of a fingertip veil that cascaded down from her upswept blonde tresses.

Following the ceremony, which was conducted by a justice of the peace, globo.com reported that the newlyweds cut slices of a four tier wedding cake and enjoyed the music of Radio Taxi. The assembled group of family and friends were also treated to a mini-concert from the groom, who serenaded his new wife with several of his famous songs.
