As the flag of France waved proudly in the breeze atop the Chateau d'Eu on September 7, 2007, Prince Charles-Philippe d'Orleans, a descendant of the castle's former resident King Louis-Philippe, announced his intention to wed the Duchess of Cadaval, Diana Alvares Pereira de Melo. The duchess, wearing a white, two-piece ensemble for the occasion, looked every inch the fairytale bride-to-be as she gazed lovingly into the eyes of her prince as they stood in the chateau's rose garden and told the press that they will be united in matrimony in June 2008 in Portugal.Labels: Celebrity engagements
