“Scrubs” star Zach Braff and actress Shiri Appleby recently returned from a Labor Day getaway to the Big Island of Hawaii, Page Six reports. The Tinseltown twosome said goodbye to summer at the Four Seasons Resort Haulalai in Kona-Kohala, a palm tree-laden paradise which offers its patrons open air spa treatments administered behind privacy-producing bamboo screens, eight tennis courts, an infinity-edge pool which seemingly stretches out to the sea, and 243 well-appointed guest rooms.
The couple’s vacation is one in a series of sightings over the course of the summer. In June the pair were among the cavalcade of celebrities at Delacorte Theatre in Central Park for New York City’s annual nod to The Bard, Shakespeare in the Park, and E! online reported that Mr. Braff and the former “Roswell” star, who will soon appear on the silver screen in the Tom Hanks/Julia Roberts drama “Charlie Wilson’s War,” were served a romantic repast in August at Dominick’s, an upscale restaurant in West Hollywood.
